  1. Nope. Have been offered upsell a couple times, but complimentary upgrades have never worked for me (Princess STILL doesn't understand my priorities.) That said, sailing Alaska next week and went from inside to obstructed balcony for $200pp less than original booking. Upgrade with refund works!

  3. We sail Royal July 9th. Anxious for an update and hoping we still get to do Skagway.
  4. That was the case with ours as well. Had to book over the phone and fare was higher than quoted online.
  5. Had to call to book two cruises because website is wonky. I'm holding $2,600 in Princess gift cards (our 50th anniversary) and CANNOT post payments or check balances. I'll try again tomorrow.
  6. Checked online and found a site offering our balcony for $130pp less. But I REALLY want control over my own &^%$#@* booking.
  7. Thanks. I called and they booked both cruises for me. One fare was $20pp higher than online. The other was $100pp higher. But both are secured now.
  8. Has anyone had any luck calling Princess to book cruises with THIS ^ error message? There are two I've been trying to secure for days. I'd love call my favorite TA, but I just HAVE to have control over my bookings.
  9. We've cruised three times this year. For each we got the PCR test done 3 days prior. Our upcoming cruise sails from Vancouver, but we are flying into Seattle and taking Princess shuttle. To be on the safe side, we're scheduling PCR tests 3 days prior (flying 2 days prior.) The day before boarding, we'll do the proctored rapid antigen. Now, if we just don't test positive... Vaxxed, double boosted and carefully masked. Like everyone else, we're so over this.
  10. I did the online chat w/ Delta I called Delta My sister called Delta Each time we were told Princess would have to make the change. Princess told us they'd have to cancel and rebook, but had no idea what would happen if they did that. Nice, huh?
  11. Delta made the change. They have emailed us repeatedly since we booked and paid for our flights through EZAir. Jacki gets their confirmations and I get ours. We just didn't know they had separated us on the middle flight. Going through emails now, we still don't know when they did that (after January.) Delta and Princess are passing the buck at each other and we are the pawns in the middle. At this point, OUR connection had plenty of seats available (theirs does not.) If Princess doesn't respond to the report filed yesterday, we'll try to make a change at the airport. It's a PITA, but we'll make the best of it. Thanks everyone for the support, encouragement, trying to help and getting me through the frustration.
  12. Sister called Princess. They "filed a report" and someone will get back to us in 5 to 7 days blah, blah, blah... BIL is on the phone with Princess now.
  13. Yes, I did confirm that connection time is 36 minutes which feels just a little better. Sister off phone with Delta. They state we are absolutely entitled to have this fixed at no additional cost. Princess says they can't do it without canceling and rebooking...and they don't know how that will play out.
  14. 8:44pm to 9:10pm I'll tell me sister "illegal connection" but I suspect (hope) my BIL will make the next call. I'm so tired of it all.
  15. My fault for NOT specifying "no upgrade." Generally I like a free upgrade and often a paid upsell. But in this case I want to stay where I booked.
  16. I was concerned that might have been the reason. In that case, we'd cancel and choose another sailing.
  17. I should have checked every detail with each change. Just didn't realize they had separated us. We're all adults, but my biggest concern is that the later flight has all of 26 minutes to make a connection in Detroit. I would not have booked that.

  19. Four weeks from today we fly to Seattle to begin our Alaska cruise tour. We've put so much time, energy and MONEY into this trip! All of our excursions are booked $$$$$. We are traveling with my sister and BIL. Realized this morning that, among the countless changes Delta has made to our return flights, they separated the two couples on ONE of the three flights. We are together ANC - MSP and DTW-PWM, but for some reason, Delta moved one couple to a different MSP-DTW connection. It's not the end of the world, but connection times are not good on the changed flight and they won't change it back. Princess claims they "can't" and Delta won't (they claim flight is sold out, but it is NOT.) First flight on screen shot is ours; second flight is their's...both are offered on Delta.com right now. It's **** that I spend an entire morning on something that shouldn't have happened and should be an easy fix, but we are stuck. THEN...we have a Panama Canal sailing in January. Princess complimentary upgraded us to a stateroom we don't want (per email this morning.) So I asked them to move us back and they tell me they put in a "request" and someone will address it in 3-4 days. Seriously? Just change my damn stateroom back to what I booked in the first place. I sent Princess a snail mail letter about our FCCs 9 days ago. Won't hold my breath for a reply.
  20. For our January / Panama Canal cruise, Princess Plus was an additional $40pp/pd when we booked. It is now an additional $50pp/pd.
  21. We did just that in London a few years ago. Next month we fly into Seattle for two days, then cruise out of Vancouver. We are using Princess shuttle from SEA to the Port of Vancouver.
