Have to say we will also think very carefully about whether we book another P&O cruise. Maybe to use up the FCC. Conveneiently discounted due to P&O very recently reducing our fare.
Well the figure for FCC she gave me was based on the newly discounted price. There again offereing refunds to fully paid cruisers is also not usual P&O policy.
Have to say I'm thinking a bit of sharp practice.
Re lunch - not really viable from Birmingham. Plus of course only 10%fcc. Will that be on original price or newly discounted price. Slap in the face - not that easy to rearrange work schedules. P&O not covering themselves in glory.
Of course others may have pre booked expenses. Yes there is insurance but most policies have an excess. At least I booked a hotel with option to cancel.
As far as I know this is just for the maiden. However, I do agree with you. Many say once booked you shouldn't check price. It certainly doesn't encourage early bookers and those loyal to the brand. A boost to OBC or special offers on board would not go amiss - speciality dining/drinks packge for those subsidising the cut price travellers.
Although if the ship isn't complete you should get a refund!
Maybe they'll do what they are doing with the maiden and give refunds to those who have paid significantly over the odds
I understand the maiden not appealing as much as the second sailing as that is Christmas/New Year. We are on both the Maiden and the T/A so should see you on board. Home for 2 weeks in between.
However, not had our revised invoice yet nor refund for the maiden. I will contact agent next week.
on the email i received from a well known uk cruise company balconies were discounted £1,300 and seaview £1,000. Not had my revised invoice yet. A balcony for £83.21 pppn can't be bad.
