thank you in advance.

Our friends are traveling with us and have decided on SS 11210. I know there has been talk about the banging noise on many SS. Has anyone stayed in this cabin and if so was there noise? Thank you in advance.

Covepointcruiser. My first cruise with my parents was on the Ocean Monarch also and probably sometime in 1962. I remember having a crush on the Purser.

Jim- we were booked on the April 11 Equinox cruise and wanted to change it to April 1 Equinox cruise. By moving the cruise we lost our gratuities and on board credit. We are double Zenith and travel in top suites. We have 12 cruises booked with Celebrity all in a PH except for 2 where we are waitlisted. We thought incorrectly that when we called the Executive Office that somebody would actually understand that losing gratuities and on board credit for a Zenith makes a big difference. We feel that Celebrity doesn’t care about their loyal customers and we aren’t going to book any new cruises with them.

We have been on the Equinox several times this year and have an upcoming cruise in 9 days. We love the ship and crew. We are in a suite and Luminae was superb in both food and service. I will be sorry to see her leave Florida.

No regrets. I love the suite but wish Celebrity had continued with OBC and gratuities especially since the suite prices have gone up.

I just left the Equinox in PH suite. From now on gratuities are not included. No OBC from Celebrity. The specialty restaurants will no longer serve food in the suite. The laundry is also limited unless you are Zenith which I am.

We were in 12101 on the Apex Iconic Suite. It is a dead end at the entrance to the suite There is a door there but I have no idea where it goes.. To get to Luminae you must turn left out of the cabin door and follow the hallway. Luminae is across the hall at the exit opening which is quite wide. Can’t miss it.

We will be on the above cruise and for anyone who has taken this cruise is one side of the ship better than the other? We overnight in Tromso and Narvik. Thank you in advance.

We were in Iconic Suite 12101 on the Apex in February 2023. We had terrible loud noise- snapping, clicking etc in the master suite all night. The second bedroom has the washer machine and if it isn’t tight it will bang metal to metal. Make certain they tighten it up before you leave port.

Every decision is subjective.
I will say that my partner and I are land travelers usually, and primarily because one of us gets sea sick just being in a bathtub.
We will occasionally do cruises on small ships and decided to try Celebrity Beyond this past Jan/Feb. We figured, bigger ship, more stable, less sea sick. This mostly worked.
Loved Beyond in an Edge Villa. Superb service all around. Rarely left our room and Retreat except for specialty dining and shore excursions. And the multiple spa treatments. All wonderful.
We're on Beyond again in Aug/Sep, same room. Booked another future EV after that and one Iconic (taking two kids with us, so this room makes sense with the two bedrooms. Otherwise, the EV is ideal for two) on cruises for later.
I have no reference point for what one gets if not in an EV or Iconic, but I like what I have seen so far of the EV and Retreat.
Having said this, when we travel, we go for memorable, and we're willing to pay for it. We all have our reference for "memorable."
If I weren't able to be where I am, I think I'd still go for memorable in a measure that fits my budget and I'd be happy all the same.
These Edge ships are nice, and the only way we'll book when traveling with Celebrity. IMO, they've done a great job.
Peace and kindness to all.
We were in an Iconic Suite on the Apex. The noise- banging constantly n the master and the other bedroom had the washing equipped for the ship and banged the first 2 nights until it was fixed. I moved to another cabin to sleep. The cabin was 12101.

How rocky is this cabin? How much movement do you feel? We are on the Grandeur in 2024 for a New England cruise. Thank you in advance.

Thank you.

Thinking of booking this suite. Is there any noise from Luminae? Thank you in advance.

We were on the Silhouette Nov of 21 in the Penthouse Suite. The “nightlight” in the main bathroom was extremely bright and woke us up at night. Has this been changed? Thank you in advance.

I was on the same Equinox cruise as JamieLogical and in a suite. We lost our waiters 3 days into our 6 night cruise. I know that a retreat concierge had Covid and was missing also. When we left the ship there were 3 black suvs parked. Yes, we did have Covid on board.

I am on the Equinox now doing a b2b and was tested yesterday on the ship. My 2nd leg starts today.

Onboard now. Masks are not required except in Casino, theatre and Celebrity Central. My husband and I are wearing masks in interior spaces including elevator.

Masks are required in- the theatre, Celebrity Central and the casino.

The crew still serves in the Oceanview. No announcements about Covid so far. All islands are open on this cruise for passengers.

We are on the Equinox now and seem to be the only ones wearing masks inside. If you test positive, you move to deck 3 and will not stay in your suite.
