Those flamingos were awesome. I loved them all but especially the ones where they were reflected in the water and the groups of the young birds. What a sight to see!

Once again I have enjoyed following your adventures. I agree with the previous post about Captain Paul. He sounds like he really enjoys interacting with the guests. I, too hope to sail with him one day. Barb says Hi. Enjoy the holidays and I will look forward to your GWV.

I am back from my (very short only 14 days) HAL cruise and looking forward to catching up on all the pictures. Barb's friends at the OFH are wondering when she will be back home to reality. Just FWIW the staff on the Nieuw Statendam were fantastic. The food, not so much. So, I was really interested to read about the session with the President of HAL

Last year when I was in Tenerife we had TV reception. Agree it makes no sense that the Government would block TV reception.

I am following this discussion of food quality with interest. We have booked HAL for a transatlantic in April. My friends picked HAL after being less than thrilled with the food on their October cruise on Celebrity. Bill and Mary Ann. Enjoying cruising with you two. Hugs to Barb from the OFH.
