On our Jan 12 sailing of the Breeze, they handed out samples at our first port (Ocho Rios) on the way to the gangway on deck 0. They were about an ounce tube and I grabbed about 4 without an issue.

Not sure if this is on all of the ships, but seems to be new....the highest qualifying score (#1 going into the finals) also gets $100! My boyfriend had the highest score and even though he didnt win the final, he still got $100. This was on the Breeze a few weeks ago.

Been on the Dream and Splendor....doing the Breeze for March 1st....That being said, the Splendor would be MY last choice ... I was just not a fan...
I was going to post the same thing about the Splendor...wasnt thrilled.
We'll be doing the Breeze for the 3rd time in June...our favorite ship so far and worth flying for.
-
In October, they had it in the sports bar on the Victory.
-
Yes it is but the Cucina del Capitano is even better for only $12PP.
We thought so too...enjoyed the steakhouse but enjoyed Cucina as well and the price. They also have a NY Strip in Cucina that a tablemate had and said was very good and a manageable size.
-
Where would I find the email address for the Cucina on the Sunshine? Thanks so much guys! :-)
Defintely reserve ahead of time. When we've tried to book on board, even for later in the week, they offer us very early or very late time slots.
Enjoy!!!
-
They do take reservations in advance. Which ship? You can email them directly...the Cucina on the Breeze is brcucina@carnival.com.

We're taking our first Celebrity cruise on the Reflection March 22 with the free drink package. Love that it also includes water, espresso, lattes and fresh squeeze juices.
The hot room service will be nice too with a table on our balcony. :)
-
Did you book at the Maya using the Carnival code? They've always given us a free ride to the ship no problem.
-
On all of the 3 night cruises I have done, its always been night 2 and yep, there will be lobster.
-
Have fun! I have a friend on that sailing too!

I got lucky and booked LAX to FLL for $280 R/T non-stop on Virgin. I felt like I died and went to heaven.
Thats great! I love Virgin! We can get Virgin from SFO-FLL for around $300-350 RT...but under $300 is a score!

Guess you're right!
West Coast has only two? home-ports to depart from not so?
.
Three if they would port in San Francisco...brand new cruise terminal! Really cool seeing Celebrity there during the Americas Cup.
-
Ask those on the west coast about their options. Makes the East coast look pretty darn good!
Bingo!!!
-
Did you happen to catch how much the spa pass costs for the 6-day? Thanks!
-
Hey lele...I was wondering the same thing as we are on right before you, Jan 12 sailing. I couldnt find anything on him either..no You Tube, nothing.
I can post back after night one or when we pull back into port and give a quick review!
-
Hi..Which Breeze sailing are you on in Jan?
-
During our Oct 14 sailing, no more sushi cart. It has been replaced with the "taste bar" that serves different apps from the Carnival speciality venues such as Cucina, Red Frog, etc...

I've never seen too much chaos at the VIP booth. They've allowed me to check in there twice with my walker, (I had to wait to get my gold cards and waited patiently for real Vips to check in) but they always kept an eye on me.
Its typically pretty crowded in there and cramped. People with their carryon's all over, etc. They had the wedding parties in there too. Nice that they let you sit in there with your walker especially considering the limited seating outside.
-
I think FTTF starts this week on Inspiration. I hope they work out any bugs by Sept 16!
I'll be there next week...and will report back on the mess or hopefully lack thereof. Even their regular pre-FTTF boarding area outside is chaos and the VIP lounge is usually pretty full.

Awesome review!!! And you guys look great...especially Kim!
-
Loving your review and Sakari is just angelic!

I checked in with my PVP this morning and she said she hasnt seen anything open up as of yet.
