Our Butler was Jomar. We saw him enough. And when we did need him he answered the phone quickly. This was our 4th time on the Epic in a Haven suite. The 1st time ever, back in 2011, the butlers did everything for us (escorted us to shows etc). Then when we were back in 2013 the Concierge took over and we didn't see our butlers at all. This time was a mix of both. Were you on the same sailing as us this time?

I love the Epic and the Haven and the rooms but this one is particularly noisy due to some door from underneath. I went the hotel manager after not being able to fall asleep at night (till about 1am) due to the slamming of a door then was awakened every morning at 5 or 6 am. It's either a staff entry door to the buffet restaurant or some very large freezer/fridge door. It would slam intermittently making me think it was staff entry. Looking at the floor plans online I cannot tell. The slam was so big it would even shake the bed. After 5 days of vacation with very little sleep we went to the hotel manager. Very nice gentleman who said he would look in to it. Afterwards the slamming at night didn't go away but in the morning I would only hear it a few times. Either I was so tired I finally was able to sleep through it or he was able to have it propped for the early hours.
In addition, oddly, in front of the slider door to the balcony and in the bathroom just before the tiled portion, the carpet hand huge sink holes that always seemed damp. Round and about 18" in diameter. Maybe this will be fixed on the trip over to Europe? Kinda grossed me out. I never asked about it.
We stayed in 16021 last year and did not have either of these issues.

Last week on our Epic cruise a man was sent away to put pants on when he tried to come in with shorts. Maybe it depends on the ship?

Teppanyaki - on any NCL Ship. Yumminess plus fun

In regards to movement, we were on 16 in the very front, right side on the BA and unless you are very susceptible to motion sickness, those ships are so big there was very little movement including the one night we were in 12-15 foot seas (the highest on our trip).
Thank you! Now I am wondering about the size of the balcony. Does anyone know if its smaller?

Has anyone stayed in 15102 on the Getaway or the Breakaway. I moved to it as it looks like the balcony is not shared (yes, I know there is a divider on the others) with another cabin. Is the balcony smaller since it is enclosed? Also, since it is a little further forward do you think the movement was worse? I'm thinking almost anywhere up top and forward would be about the same. Looking forward to hearing your thoughts and see any pix if you have them!

We have been on the eipc 3 times. Even tho we've been together for 18 years there are some things in don't need to hear or be heard doing. Neither my husband or I had a problem stepping out to the balcony when the other had to go. He coulve cared less. Were going on the getaway in September so I cannot yetvcompare the two ships.

Thank you! It doesn't appear that Vibe looks down on the main deck, so you're right, no reason to pay extra to be there since I have Haven access!

Does Vibe look over the main deck area and pools? We really enjoyed Posh on the Epic as we were spared from dealing with seat savers yet could watch the pool games etc from above.
Also, I think I read somewhere that Haven guests don't get access to Vibe at no additional cost. Is this correct? Can someone who's stayed in the Haven confirm?
Thanks!
