  1. Aren't they all?

There's a faster, more expensive option?

On each cruise there were two options...I think the Dream was 99.00 for the week and you could use it on multiple devices at the same time...the cheaper slower option was 39.99 on the Dream...you could only use it on one device...the price for the slower one on the Glory in June was more...but it still was cheaper than what it used to be...and for what I'm using it for...don't mind it a bit slower as long as it cheaper:) I hated it when you had to buy minutes...this was unlimited for the week...nice:D

  2. Wonderful photos...just amazing....I am another one who probably could not make herself get in a small plane...and oldest son is a pilot...and no he has not taken me up yet...he has taken the grands though! Question...is there an individual weight limit? DH is rather large...not overly so but still a large guy...not sure he would fly...but your photos really make you want to experience the beauty:):):)

  3. GREAT review:) and awesome pictures! We have 30 plus cruises but no Alaska. DH just doesn't like cold...but we did Canada this year from Boston and he enjoyed it...so.......it's either the Panama Canal next year on the legend...or glacier bay on a Hal ship!! We sailed out of Vancouver a few years ago on a repositioning on the spirit and loved Vancouver...again thanks for all the info and pictures!!

  4. Thanks for the review and pictures:):):) so sorry about your lost luggage...we love Southwest but have never had anything lost...we flew Jetblue for the first time from RDU to Boston for our Glory cruise...and were impressed with them...although they changed our departure time twice after we booked!!

We have 30 some cruises under our belt...and I do love Hal.. sail Carnival a lot too, but the only time I have every gotten sick...also think food poisoning and not Noro was on the Oosterdam. they were handing out "extra lobster tails" in the Pinnacle one night...I took one bite..and said uh oh...bad food. I have since been a fanatic about watching who and what..and taste regarding food and food stations....Hal's pizza always looked old to me...and the Nacho area always looked dirty..so I stay away from them...I have seen passengers put their whole hands into a shrimp bowl on the Bloody Mary cart....shudder...so no more Bloody Mary's for me:eek: But I still love Hal...and we have not done Alaska yet!!

    Again thanks for your review!!

  5. No more sushi??

That was one of the things I was really looking forward to...

Me too....we were on the Dream in November..and just not so impressed with the different new eating venues....am happy they still have the seafood place upstairs in the Lido:):):)

  6. Nice thread:). We booked the fascination for November...just because it goes to key west! Did the Hemingway house last time and thinking about the Truman White House...has anyone done this..is it worth it or should we go back to the HH....loved the kitties there:)

  7. San Diego is my old hometown...loved the three times I have sailed out of there, once with Carnival and twice with Hal...we had no problems but I know the embarkation process could be better...but hey you can stay across the street and just walk yourself and your luggage to the ship:D

Also nothing beats staying at the Holiday Inn...getting up in the am to see your ship almost sitting on your balcony!! I love San Diego:)
