MSC Seaside hasn't been allowed to disembark in Jamaica and people have already missed their excursions.  Someone onboard is in a group I'm in.  They were finally allowed off but all excursions were cancelled.

When is your cruise?  You can't make them until 120 days out.  It could be that they are booked already for online reservations.  They only put about 25% or so online and the rest can be made when you are on the ship.  I would call if you have a large group or make them as soon as you get on the ship.  It was great! 

We were on this same cruise on the 14th deck aft.  I thought it was very rocky back there.  So much so that the only time I felt good was in a port or the night between Tortola and St. Thomas (since we basically floated all night).  We loved Le Bistro and Los Lobos.  Cagneys and Teppanyaki were both good.  Never ate in the main dining room.  Having been on 17 NCL cruises this ship was just ok for me.  I could care less about race tracks and laser tag.  Spice H20 is smaller on this ship compared to the others.    I thought the 3 bands (Beatles, Familiar Strangers, and Siglo) were all fantastic.  I hate that you have to go over an hour early to get a seat in the Cavern club to see a band.  Jersey Boys and Havana were both wonderful.  While I think the Observation lounge if perfect for Alaska it's really underused in the Caribbean.  A large, large area too.  Would I sail the Bliss again?  Probably not.  The Escape is my favorite.

Looks like you are having a great time and eating quite well!  Yum!  I see you did have a dirty martini for me in the Diamond lounge!  Did you have to welcome anyone to your cabin with that pineapple shirt?  Continue with the fun, Dale!

Maureen, did you break the internet trying to upload all of those pictures?

They were young and had no clue they were bedbugs. Thought they got bit by something else until a dr. confirmed it after they got home. Too bad they didn't say anything while on the ship. They should have notified the hotel director when they saw the blood spots.

Just saw it again on the news. Cabin 8106.

Saw that report too. Freaks me out. I can't remember the cabin either but it was Deck 8. They did notice blood spots on the sheets every day and have welts all over their legs that a dr. confirmed as bed bug bites. Yuck. Could have been brought on by the people that vacated that cabin.

Very sad to see them there watching for their fellow crew memeber.

Thank you so much for your pictures and posts about this ship. It's been great to follow along with you and your wife. We won't be on the ship until Feb. and in the Caribbean!

The go karts are now 9.95. It's been updated on their website also.

For all those concerned about pictures. The video/pictures are posted on YouTube. Lots of water...coming out of walls, ceilings.

Doug, are there rules for driving the go-karts as far as dress and shoes go, age, height? That steak from Los Lobos looks incredible! Thanks for your posts.

We had filet at La Cucina on the Escape. It was fantastic and the best I had on the ship. Try it!

Love the Escape. Just got off of her last Saturday. Have been on her 3 times. I don't mind planning my dinner/ shows. You can do it at 90 days out. Bermuda is fantastic. I much prefer the larger ships over the smaller ones. More choices!

Had a cove balcony on the Breeze and am probably one of the only ones that hated it. Too close to the ocean...you see it whizzing by. I didn't like sitting there seeing that. I much prefer being higher up!
