  1. Leaving March 5th from Miami.  I received an email from Regent - Final Cruise Vacation Summary.  It indicated embarkation time as 12:00 PM.

immediately after I received the link to on-line check in.  All fine, except the earliest check in time listed is 12:30.  Do they actually  pay attention to the time on embarkation?

Also, material says to bring proof of vaccination.  I thought that was no longer required.

    Thanks for any guidence.

  2. Thank you for your answers.  I spoke to guest services before posting .  The person there “checked” , came back on and told me no limit and no priority for Neptune Suites.  It must be like Rick in Casablanca - she was misinformed.

  3. Apologies if this has been answered in an earlier thread - haven’t found it.

Have been told by Holland America that they do not limit the number of people who wish to pay the up charge for Club Orange and that they do not give priority to Neptune Suite guests.  Given this, have people found that Club Orange gets crowded.

    Thanks

  4. Again thank you all for the information - however- I just checked with Baggage Valet and Fed Ex and they are both more expensive sending to hotel than Silversea is to send to the ship.

  5. I'll be boarding in Rome this fall. As I'll be traveling for a few weeks before sailing I would like to send formal clothes ahead. Has anyone recently used the luggage valet program? Did it work well for you?

Thanks very much for your replies.

  6. Hello everyone,

Will be on the spirit for 24days this fall and would like to access newspapers etc on my I-pad. Could someone comment on download speeds - I'm concerned that it could be so slow that it would become too expensive to use.

    Thanks

  7. We will be sailing on the Connie. Based on what we have read here and what had been on the web site I was planning to not bring a dark suit - only a sports jacket - skip the MDR on formal night and eat in one of the specialty restaurants. I was just on the web site and under how to pack it now says that the evening dress code in enforced in all restaurants - have I missed something or has policy changed?

    Thanks

  8. Andy thanks for your reply. The wheelchair request is not listed on the web sit - there is simply a non specific notation of two special events under dining. The only way i found out what this meant was to speak to one of the agents who saw the request and told me that this was what was being referenced. I have no written or online confirmation of the request to have in hand and it does not appear on my e-docs. I'm not worried about it - sure everything will be ok.

  9. Went to the web-site for our upcoming cruise and noticed that here are two special occasions listed under our dining reservation. Called Celebrity to find out what they were.

We are having a wheelchair delivered to the room and have requested wheelchair assistance on embarkation. Turns out that Celebrity lists having a wheelchair as a special occasion. The sensitivity of Celebrity programmers is remarkable.
