I have not yet found a site with current rates.

We will arrive in Cozumel along with 4 other large ship - lots of people. We will want to get off of the ship late morning, get a taxi and keep it for 3 or 4 hours- from your experience do you think this will be an issue.

Thank you all for your replies. To answer Travelcat2 - we are very much aware of the Silversea experience and it is possible to get a sense of the Regent experience from reading these boards. My question relates to the specific ambiance of these two ships. I am curious as to why you do not like either of them.

We have sailed on Silversea and enjoyed it very much - have never sailed Regent. Same Western Caribbean itinerary - cost difference negligible. May I have thoughts from those who have sailed on both.

There are a number of entries on various threads about the potential waits on embarking at Canada Place. Is this the norm rather than the exception?

Also, is there only one drop off point for luggage when there is more than one ship docked or are there separate porter stations, as we have had in many ports.

We will be staying at the Hampton Inn Downtown this August pre cruise. I am aware that it is on the edge of downtown. Are there problems walking from there to Gastown, Yaletown etc at night?
