Nice! How many royal suites are there on the seaside? I didnt see it available on our cruise summer 2019
-
I just booked a cruise for june 2019 about an hour ago with an online TA company and It's already showing in my MSC account. Under payment it says we have a $25 OBC and Internet Surfer Cruise Plus (both a nice surprise) if this internet package is no longer offered why would i have it in my account for a brand new booking?
-
Thank you everyone, I pulled the trigger and booked june 2019. The price is just too good and i found it cheaper with an online agent than anywhere else i looked.

Drinks throughout the ship are std with the YC. There is no need for a drink pkg.
Thanks, thats what i though. 2 different internet agencies (one big, one not) hav two different pricing for a YC balcony suit. Regular price and another thats $200 more that includes a "drink package". interesting.
I will go with the cheaper one, thank you

Im looking to book msc yacht club on the seaside next summer. I'm noticing some TA's are adding in two yacht club options, regular and one with a "drink package" for more money. But I thought yacht club automatically gets your free alcoholic drinks?? whats the catch?

Yes...separate entrance and access. Side entrances on each side of ship on Deck 18 require Yacht Club card for access. All Yacht Club areas must have Yacht Club access for both cabins and common areas in yacht Club
Thank you, this is perfect.
Also. Its hard to tell by the deck plans. But does both sides ( starboard and port) of deck 16 and 18 have access to the lounge? It looks like only port side does on deck 18 (does starboard have to walk all the way around?) and on deck 16 only starboard does. Trying to pick a cabin and its not clear.

is the yacht club staterooms in its own private area (do you swipe your yachtclub key card to get to yacht club staterooms like NCL haven?) I cant tell in the deck plans if its just open (anyone can walk through) or doored off

Well maybe I won't change. :) However the climate in Seattle in June is not too bad. Even in the heat of summer it doesn't get so hot.
I looked at the highs and lows temperatures last year in Seattle in June and the weather is all over the place one day It can be a high in the 90s and the next high in the 50s or 60s

New to msc, very interested in the yacht club. Which MSC ship has the best Yacht Club?
Is there any big differences between them?
-
I'm looking at this cruise with kids next year wanted to know if you felt like Yacht Club was worth it with how Port intensive Mediterranean Cruises are

Awesome review! Which deck is better to book a yacht club room?
Is there a kids menu in yacht club restaurant?
Does the butler offer in-room dining?
-
I don't know if our recent review helps.
Make sure that you use the Photobucket workaround for Chrome (the link is in the thread) to view the pictures as Photobucket went FEE BASED.

Also, click on our profile and look at POSTS; we did a detailed comparison of our first MSC cruise on Divina in the Yacht Club compared to NCL Haven.
VERY helpful, thank you!

I wouldn't count on any promotions for Yacht Club cabins other than kids sail free. My grandson accompanied us 2 weeks ago at no cost also service/gratuity for kids is only 50% of adult!! Only paid $6.25 per day for him.
Specialty dining options are not included....but we had no interest anyway due to fine service and selections of food nightly in YC Dining Room.
I would consider using a Internet booking agency.... I always use these agencies. Prices are the same but you get more OBC
Thank you!

We usually sail with NCL and have done Haven. We would like to try out MSC Seaside Yacht club for 2019. Traveling with kids too.
- We are very familiar with NCL's different booking promotions but want to know if MSC has any recurring promotions I should look out for?
- I found the yacht club benefits, but it doesn't mention specialty dining. Is this not included?
- Is it best to book direct through MSC or through a travel agent? (i know you can't list agents here, thats fine)
- Anything else we need to know regarding MSC Yacht club compared to NCL Haven?
thank you.

Cruises are the BEST time for picky eaters to broaden their tastes and try something new and get out of their comfort zone a little.

Why would someone book a balcony that connects to
The Haven Suite - Connecting Stateroom (H8) (assuming you book both)
If the connecting balcony room doesnt get haven access?
-
There are a lot of different travel agencies out there some will even give you additional onboard credit when you book with them I personally find it worth shopping around. The travel agency I booked with this time had lower rates than NCL and Costco plus they gave me onboard credit I'm not sure how they were able to do it. However in the event of an emergency it does take them awhile to respond to me I guess that's the trade-off.
Like a previous poster said though it's against rules to mention specific travel agents

Does anybody else seem the least bit concerned about the fact that they have not opened up the shows for reservations yet. That is typically done 90 days out and they are still not out for the June 2nd cruise.
Yes, I wonder what the hold up is??

I booked my MSC June 2019 cruise with an online travel agency and it was $400 cheaper than the MSC website (or anywhere else...trust me i shopped around ) when I logged into my MSC account it showed my cruise with a $25 onboard credit and a free internet package which were both nice perks that the travel agency did not even have listed.
