  1. We visited Pacifico a few years ago. I called the brewery and made a reservation for their tour. We got a taxi near the port and we’re dropped off. It was a free tour, got pictures of our group in front of a mural inside and enjoyed sampling their beer in the top story of the tower for an hour. At the end of the tour we walked back to the ship. Great time

  2. Check out tours by locals.. this tour is under shore excursions, busan day tour including haedong yonggungsa temple. I emailed Ken the guide and he answered right back. He will meet you at cruise ship port and you can change anything. Hope this helps... have a great trip! Hope you’ll report back.

  3. We’re going to Japan in October and booked our shore excursion with triplelights tour company. We picked our English speaking guide and planned our day in each port. Seem very attentive and have read good reviews with their company. Hope this helps

  4. We are going to Tokyo for our first time. We chose to fly into Haneda because it was closer to downtown Tokyo and Yokohama. There was really no difference in price. For our hotel, we are staying at the Marriott in shibuya because it’s close to rail. We’ll take the limousine bus from the airport. Still researching the rest of the logistics for transfers. Hope this helps a little.

  5. We are a group of 4 adults trying to figure out transfers. We’ll have 6 large suitcases and would prefer a private transfer. Do you need to reserve a taxi van in advance or will they be there waiting? Or would a private service be better? Can anyone recommend a company?

  6. We just left Busan and heading in, we had zero expectations. Three days before the port I booked a tour, and having cruised a lot, I was STUNNED that this city actually was once of the best excursions I have ever been on. We had a private van, and avoided the herds. We went to the oldest mountain temple in Busan with gorgeous views. We hiked along the coast to the wide sandy beach in the city. We went out to a far island via van to beautiful cliffs and a see-through walking bridge (like in Jasper, Grand Canyon). We went to this hill side old village that reminded me of Santorilli (sp?). It was newly renovated for tourists and it was amazing to walk the narrow valleys and take part in all of the photo-ops. We then went to the fish market, and the international market for shopping. It was one after another show stopping stops. Probably my favourite port so far in Asia. Quite the surprise! Message me if you want further details etc.

  7. We were there last January and the water was warm and refreshing! We stayed in a lagoon area and umbrellas in the water and sandy bottom. Awesome beach!

  8. We stayed at McKinley creekside cabins! 15 min from the entrance of Denali. Cute cabins and comfortable king size beds. We were able to order lunches the night before and they had them ready early the next morning for our day in the park! Delicious. Reasonable price. Beautiful setting! Even had chair next to the creek! Would highly recommend them! We were traveling with another couple and they made sure our rooms were next to each other!

  9. We just returned from British isle cruise onboard princess. We booked the military tattoo on our own. I joined friends of the Tattoo for 25 pounds and was able to get early reservations, as a matter of fact we got front row seats near the exit! Awesome location!

We joined a group from our roll call and had a bus for 18 people. The driver knew where to park behind the castle, very easy to find. He drove us by the location before dropping us off. Got back to the ship at 1:30 am ,1/2 hour early! You'll have no problem doing this DIY.

Btw, if you become a friend of the tattoo, we got a discount on merchandise we purchased! Win win! Enjoy your cruise! Hope this helped!

  10. Yes, there were a line of taxis available just outside the ship. Just got off the Caribbean princess and saw 10-15 immediately available. There were black cabs to mini vans lined up. We walked off the ship as soon as we were cleared, and people were hailing them. So if you get off early you should be fine.
