Will Carnival honour and match loyalty levels with the other cruise lines that fall under the Carnival Corporation umberela?
Bob
No, but its something they should do. If I choose to try another line, I would be more willing to try Princess if I got some sort of recognition, but now I'm looking at Celebrity or Virgin more because if I'm starting over, I'm starting over with a new line that will reciprocate.

Are other cruise lines doing the same?
They will have to if they are doing business in California.

I know prior to COVID, the Hotel Maya offered discount codes for Carnival cruisers. Does anyone know if they still do and if so, what the current codes are?

I don’t believe mdr will be open until dinner
You're correct.

While they are in the same group(Camp Ocean), they have separate subgroups. 2-5 6-8, and 9-11 are the groups. Sometimes they will combine them and other times they won't. All depends on how many kids are onboard in those age groups.

Carnival website has the menu and while there are seafood choices, there are chicken and steak as well.

I've never had what I consider a "cool" room on Carnival. Each room is warm and I use a fan.

Not likely since if they go, it would be a 2 person table. If you go, they would need a 4-person table which means they would be losing 4 spots for other diners with only 2 people paying.

I wouldn't book an excursion to go to Stone Island. Its a 30 min walk and a $2 water taxi to get there. Then you can find the spot you want to be. We found a spot about 1/2 way down the beach and sat there all day. 4 of us had roughly 20 drinks, some chicken tacos and a molcajete and it was only $60.

Long Beach seems to be horrible with the Panorama. Not sure if the Firenze will be any better.

Yeah, the crew member had to find it, carry it out of their area during the busiest part of their week through the ship, past hordes of guests into the crew area, full of crew, to their shared cabin, removed the "valuables", then dispose of the backpack and return to their work area, all without being noticed.
How dare you use logic. You're supposed to blindly accept what the OP says.

Well, I would care. If everyone did that, then the hallways would be full of guests and Carnival would likely do away with this “perk.”
I see it all the time on social media. People bragging about how they do this and no one ever tells them no. When we tell them they don't because they don't want the guests to complain about them and risk their jobs, they say they don't care.

And you're 100% positive thats where it was left? Or is that just a guess so you can try and push the blame elsewhere? I mean, you already proved that you aren't responsible to take care of your own items, how can we trust you now?

It took roughly a week for them to verify mine and 2-3 days to apply the OBC.

So all passengers have access to the inside bar area, and only HC and Premium Vista corner cabin guests have access to the outside bar/pool area…
Only if the Premium Vista Wraps are Havana. On Vista(maybe the other Vista class ships as well, but not positive), the aft wraps on deck 9 are not included in the Havana category.

Only Grand Suites.

I love Georgia. She was our CD on Miracle and we spent quite a bit of time talking to her as my friend lived in the same area that she grew up in, so there was a lot of talking between him and her. Then last year when we were on Horizon, she recognized my wife and I while we were sitting at Alchemy. She said hi, asked how we were doing, and just made sure we were doing good on the cruise. She is more down to earth than most of the CDs. Although she did get annoying during the Love and Marriage show.

$10 on the pass/don't line, field, come/don't come, place bests must be $10+. The only bets that allow less are the horn, hard ways, and the ATS bonus.

Thank you so much ! I tried calling my PVP but looks like they've gone for the day.
No need for your PVP, you can do it online in your booking manager.

It seemed really under utilized!
I agree. I think it is because it is out of the way and many people forget about it. I know every night on Mardi Gras, we would head to the Fortune Teller Bar and every night, we would say we needed to try emerils before the cruise ended, and each day we forgot about it until we went to the bar again.

Supposedly you can, but I have seen many complaints about them not answering the phone to schedule it.

- The hub app needs to add booking functionality! Do you think Carnival would cash in if their guests could plan another cruise while on a current one?
You can access Carnival.com for free while onboard, so it really doesn't need to be added to the app.

No trash cans where? Wow I dont remember this. Is it just family harbor?
I thought suites got free bubbles on mardi gras. Assumed jubilee too.
I thought it was only the Excel Suites.

As another Utahn who frequents Long Beach, and just booked the Panorama for an 8-day cruise in 2025, it is 1 of my favorite ships and a favorite itinerary. I love Mazatlan and Cabo. PV is ok, and I look forward to La Paz. The Vista class of ships is my favorite, with Horizon being tied with Panorama for my favorite.
