Why not just drive from Orlando and park at the Radisson? If you book in advance, it is really cheap, I think we paid $7 a day on our last cruise. We live in Orlando and park there every cruise. It is a short 5-10 minute ride to the port on their shuttles.

So sorry, I didn't realize the $44 was the discounted price, LOL. I haven't purchased the drink package in awhile. Thanks everyone.
-
Yeah, I tried that, got all the way to the CC and the discount still wasn't there. It was the $44 x 8 night cruise, plus around $64 for tips. I guess I will have to call.

When I log on to my Cruise planner, I see the drink package at 20% off but when I add it to my cart it doesn't apply the discount. How do I get the 20% off?

Curious if you can use your Starbucks giftcards when you are onboard? We are sailing on the Freedom. I know we used to be able to get iced tea/coffee/hot cocoa with the premium beverage package but I read that with the new beverage package you can't use it at Starbucks. Any insight?

Don't have the cruise compass but I just got off the Enchantment on Friday. Some of the nighttime activities were, a 70/80s party one night, a 50/60s party on night in the Atrium. Quest on the last night, newlywed show one night, of course, bingo, pool parties- strongest man, bellyflop, etc.. parade of flags/captains night in the atrium. Singers/dancers did 2 shows. party on deck the night we left Nassau.

We tried it a couple of times on the Enchantment, first time it was roast beef and good but every time we walked by after that first day it just didn't look good. Finally asked and they said it was some sort of pork. Weird, thought it was supposed to be roast beef. It was very tough, didn't appeal to us at all.

Thanks- I actually tried again today and was able to purchase day passes thru the resortforaday website. Woohoo Anyone have a menu of the food/drinks from pool bar?
-
Has anyone just walked to the Hilton and asked for a day pass? I tried to book it online with resortforaday but they said it was sold out for the day. So curious if they sold day passes the day of?

I could never just take a carry on. I enjoy a different outfit every night and enjoy different shoes to match each outfit, etc.. I take all my shampoo, bar soap, blow dryer, etc.. that stuff alone takes up a big portion of my suitcase.
I guess each person has their own way they enjoy a vacation. To me it is having everything I need and choices on clothes. I am on vacation and I want to look nice, I don't care if it takes a few extra minutes at the end of the cruise to find my luggage. It is worth it.

Thanks for the replies. I didn't realize this was a first for Celebrity. Guess that is why I haven't been able to find reviews, ha. I will keep checking after the 2017 cruise. I think we will put a deposit down for the 2018 cruise, sounds like prices only go up. :)

Just curious if you have done a cruise that stays in NO for Mardi Gras how you liked it? We are considering doing the Reflection in Feb 2018 and just trying to get opinions on the cruise from those who have been.
-
yes, they will. I take a small cooler all the time for my meds, drinks and they always fill it for me. The ice doesn't melt all the way by morning, then they refill it. I always ask them the first day and give them a tip.
I have also ordered a bucket of ice from room service.

We have never had a problem getting more then one drink with our vouchers. If it is close to 8 or 8:30, when 'happy hour' is over, we just say we would like 2 drinks, for wine they just poured 2 servings in one glass. It isn't a big deal - it is with the drink package that they won't allow you more then one drink at a time, you must wait 15 minutes before getting another drink. But, then again, depends on the bartender. My brother was on the Freedom and they just kept giving him double shots. ha

Did you purchase the 5 night dining package online before you sailed or when you were on the ship? Is there a difference in price?
-
We bring some cashews, chocolate and sometimes prepackaged crackers or granola bars. Yes, there is always a lot of food around but sometimes we just want a few bites of something in the room. We usually never eat everything we take but it is nice to know it is there, ha

Has anyone purchased the 4 or 5 night dining package? If so, which dining venues do you go to? I know you will do Chops, Giovanni's, and Sabor. But which ones do you do more then once? Do they include Johnny Rockets? I wouldn't assume so since the price is so cheap. Just curious before I consider booking. Or is it better to do it on the ship?

We just got off the Infinity last week and ate at Bistro 3x. We thought the food was good, my husband enjoyed the French onion soup each time. We had the burger one day, crepes one day and the special of the day the last day. I will admit it was nice and relaxing but it did take forever to get our food. One day it was almost 2 hours. But, like I said, it wasn't bad enough that we didn't go back. It was nicer then fighting the buffet.

We took a small tree on our Christmas cruise, and I took stocking and hung them up and a few gifts that we opened on Christmas morning. We drove to the port so space wasn't an issue. It really made our cruise extra special and it was one of our best cruises.

I always ask for another pillow or two, and ice to be delivered twice a day.

I know the cruise ship has an excursion to Hilton Rose Hall, but has anyone been to the property next door, the Hilton Rose Hall Suites for the day? We did this years ago and loved the pool, swim up bar, etc.. but am wondering if they still offer day passes. I am a little nervous taking a taxi on our own and thru going thru the ship. Anyone know if you can walk over to the property if you do Rose Hall thru the ship?

We have done several inside and we love it. Dark and cozy at night and we sleep great. We are never in our cabin during the day. We always take a small night light and clock. We have had balcony cabins many times and sometimes realized we never used the balcony. We prefer to be on the pool deck during the day.

Looking for the menus for the Infinity, 7 night cruise. Trying to decide which night to do specialty restaurant and want to book in advance. Thanks

We enjoyed the ice show. Once Upon a Time was good, the singers and dancers did a good job. Mostly songs that related to the fairy tales, but not the typical songs you hear for this kind of show, more modern tunes. We didn't care for the magic show but maybe it was just us.

We will be on the same cruise - I hope the decorations are up, the ship is always so pretty over the holidays. I am guessing they will have them up or be putting them up since our cruise ends Dec 4th.
