How can you know, in selecting a balcony on Escape, if the bed is going to be next to the balcony or the closet?? I can find nothing on NCL website deckplans to tell me!:confused:

Thanks for your reply!! I think that puts the bed by the balcony in 13872 which will make it much easier to have the scooter in there. :D

We have 13870 and 13872 on the Escape booked and will be bringing a scooter. I know it will fit through the door but it would help greatly if someone could tell me where the bed is in these rooms - close to the door or close to the balcony? :confused:

I recently purchased a Lexis Light Scooter after researching pretty extensively. My husband passed last year so I knew I needed one that I could handle alone and love my choice so far! I picked it for weight (54 lbs. when folded and hauled as a suitcase or 2 pieces, the heaviest 28lbs. The battery is in addition to this).

The other criteria, after reading comments on this site, was ground clearance. This scooter has a clearance of 3.65" - the best I have found.

This is so easy for me to get in the car and put together as needed and works well all around town. I am scheduled for a TA next year on NCL and can't wait to take it with me!

Does anyone know if NCL iConcierge will be available on the Escape? I assume so since it is a new build but it is not listed on their website. There will be several of us on the transatlantic and it seems like a great way to stay in touch with the whole group.

Hi, Joanie! We are just home from the Jan. 12-22 Zuiderdam cruise to the Panama Canal and wanted to make a small correction to your list of cabins with available WiFi. We were in cabin 7079 and were never able to get WiFi in the room. I was a little bummed by that so just want to be sure others don't go thinking it will be available to them.

The Neptune Lounge even lost it's signal for a couple of days which made for a very crowded Explorer's Cafe!
