I am a teacher in the Tampa area and my daughter attends a Florida University and our Spring Break is the week before your cruise. You should be fine. The week before your cruise tends to be the peak Spring Break week. Personally, my husband and I have always enjoyed cruising Spring Break. Better chance of the Lido deck and pools being quiet in the mornings because the college kids are sleeping and we have early dining (when college kids are napping)🤣

Hi all! When we cruised in March 2022 the Starbucks at the port looked like it should be open but it was closed with no sign or anything. I wasn't sure if it was temporary or permanent. The reason I am asking is because I collect the mugs and I saw a bunch of Turks & Caicos mugs and I was soo sad the store wasn't open. We will be back there Dec 2022 on the Mardi Gras for Christmas and I was just really hoping it was open again so I could get my mug. Thanks!

It's not showing on any of my AmEX cards this time around. One tip I heard was to keep adding offers because AmEx always makes 100 available so maybe that will make it pop up. I haven't been able to get the "backdoor" way to work for years now 😞

We just got off the Pride a couple weeks ago and no, still no chairs or benches. We were disappointed because that was our favorite spot for sail away and stood out there for a long time when we left all 6 ports. 😞

We disembarked yesterday. Everyone needs to exit rooms by 6:30am. I heard a lot of complaining but Carnival said it was the port of Dover that required such an early debarkation. Did not bother us because we had a 12:20pm flight out of Gatwick. We are Platinum and Platinum had to meet in Normadie at 5:15am and they walked us off the ship by 5:40am. We were on the 6:30am charter bus to Gatwick, which left at exactly 6:30am. We arrived at Gatwick about 8am and were checked in an ready to go by 8:40am so had plenty of time for out 12:20pm flight..which also left on time 🙂 Heads up to any Priority Pass/Platinum lounge people that even though Gatwick has 5 lounges only one was open. They claim it is due to Covid. The only lounge open was at 100% capacity and refused to let anyone in without a reservation. I tried to make a reservation online at they charge around $50 a person just to make a reservation (even though you have the Priority Pass).
