I don't think this specific question was answered. If you chose to jump out at Lover's and hangout for an hour, how do you get to Medano? Do you pay (again) for any random water taxi that pulls up at Lover's? Will they let you jump in?

We are sailing out of San Pedro in April. Had our flights set for ORD to LGB, via PHX. Just found out TODAY that our airline (AA) is discontinuing service into…wait for it…..LGB!!! They we’re nice enough to reschedule our flights…wait for it…ORD to PHX to LAX. Needless to say, we just rescheduled direct, nonstops ORD to LAX.

Why is Mazatlan a concern and not other cities? I can see how Cabo, La Paz and Loreto are distanced by the Baja Peninsula. But isn’t it possible that PV and other cities along the coast become risky?

Bumping this to the top.... First, Happy New Year to all!!! Looking for feedback from recent Discovery cruisers on if the menus have recently changed. There has been much talk about menu updates in Dec/Jan, that include removal of some (or all?) of the "Princess Favorites" and the Fettuccini Alfredo. Any recent updates would be appreciated. Pics of the actual menus would be awesome! Thanks!

Appreciate the pointers and confirmation. I browsed the hotel site and what do you know….success. One night, ~$200, April 14-15. Perhaps the 3 night mandate is unique to the hotels.com booking engine. See screen shot below. Thanks!

Based on feedback in this thread, it doesn't appear there are too many recommendations beyond the Doubletree and Crowne Plaza. Aside from the high price of these two options (~$400/night), it appears the CP requires a 3 night minimum stay. I got that result on Hotels.com and the CP website.

Looking for information on the balcony rooms that flank the retreat pool on some (or all) of the Royal class ships. These rooms have a glass wall between your cabin door and the outside pool area. Looks very convenient for day time activities. Has anyone stayed in one of these or seen the arrangement in person? Appreciate any feedback, thanks.

Looking for some recent experiences with Rony’s. Thinking about using them for a Sloth/Monkey tour combined with Little French Key. Reliable? Prompt? Quality service? Provide what they promise? Etc…. Thanks
