Has anyone done the cupcake decorating class? Considering signing up on HOTS, but want to know if it is worth it. Thanks!!

I did it on HOTS last May and was super FUN! The teacher had owned her own bakery shop and was a great teacher! We made cute dogs using 2 cupcakes and frosting!!!

  2. I have been on 5 RC cruises and have disliked  most of the free food with each cruise, with the exception of the Pizza .

I have felt like they are pushing the specialty restaurants so hard that this could be the reason of  undesirable “free food “.

With this being said, I am still Team Royal Caribbean due to the fact their ENTERTAINMENT is the best I’ve ever seen❣️

  3. The best cruise we did was a last minute, 6 day notice, another land trip we had planned fell thru, and we joked that we wish we could take a cruise now, challenge was accepted, and Harmony of the Seas happened! I am a planner, which I love but this adrenaline rush with no plans was really fun too!

It was our first time on the oasis class and we fell love!

    Allure trip in Sept

    Symphony next April!

Can’t wait to read your Live reports!

  4. Yes! This was free on the Harmony of the Seas a few weeks ago! Only when I went to the help line for the Royal IQ app did the workers tell me about it, but they told me they didn’t know what other ships it works on, since I was asking if it would also work on the Allure.

And yes, you are correct, that it is iPhone to iphones or ISO only[emoji3]

  5. It will pain RC cheerleaders to admit it, but Carnival wins when it comes to food. Especially quick service.

I 100 percent agree!!! I cruised RC a few years ago and then 2 weeks ago and nothing changed [emoji20]

But definitely you can find some good food for it to worth the most AMAZING ENTERTAINMENT RC offers!!!

    This being IMHO [emoji4]

We did really have some GREAT complimentary meals in the SOLARIUM BAR[emoji7]

  6. The Columbus Cove bungalows sound like a great idea in Labadee. Where did you book it and how far out from sailing date can you book? I just checked on My Cruise Planner but I do not see them listed there only the Nellies Cabanas Over the Water. Perhaps it's too early. My sailing is not until April/19 on Harmony

Try clicking on the ‘view all’ options in Labadee, that’s where I finally found it, I also agree that these were a fantastic option for half the price of the cabana[emoji2]

  10. We recently walked to Park Royal from International Pier and bought AI day pass for $40 per adult. (Under 5 free). Very convenient and transport-free day. Walk oceanside with stroller.

Small beach area and three swimming pools, children's pool and club for 5+. We used the pool, (stayed with 4 year old) but not the club. Snack bar, buffet lunch, drinks and towels included.

Did you have to spend time listening to time share lecture to enjoy the amenities?

  11. Just wandering if anyone was on the magic this month (December) and could tell me if they offered the $5 a day or $25 for the week social media package?

Wanted to use this to iMessage the family members on the ship in our group!

We have used it on the Freedom and it worked great!

    Thanks in advance!

  12. We always take the Spa tour and sign up for the drawings and then remember to go back at the designated time when they draw the winners, On 2 different cruises, someone in our party has won on of the giveaways, including a $200 spa credit!

The last cruise , my DH was used as the Male spa model , where they spent an hour doing a facial, shave, shoulder and scalp massage for FREE

  13. I agree with those who mentioned Sticky Notes. I'll add that I'd suggest buying the "extra-sticky" ones. I love that if I'm not using my cell phone or if the service is down, leaving a sticky note on a cabin door is the perfect way to let fellow travelers know where you are or what time you'd like to meet. The "extra sticky" ones work particularly well, and they also come in handy for reminders on a mirror (take vitamins!).

You can also use the house phones which are usually located near all the elevators, to call you friends or family cabin numbers and tell them where you are by leaving them a message on their cabin phone.

  14. Last we always take travel and medical insurance. You cannot imagine what it cost to medivac my wife off one of our Alaskan Cruises with a gall bladder issue. It paid all the costs and for half the cruise and our First Class air fare from Alaska back to Seattle to catch our original flight back home. You just never know what will go on in a cruise

    What company do you use?
