  1. We will be in cozumel on July 4th and have previous taken a snorkel trip as an add on thru Nachi Cocom, which was really great! The only problem was that we didn't really get our private beach money's worth since we were gone most of the type on the snorkel excursions.

So this time I just want a snorkel trip that is reliable to have us back in time for ship sail.

Unfortunately I can't use the search on CC, but have read on trip advisor about cozumel H2o, but just wanted my CC groups to share their opinion.

    Thank you!

  2. Last I saw it was $15.

Navigator of the Seas’ guests will also be the first to enjoy the fully revamped and elevated Chops Grille: The New American Steakhouse, which marries contemporary flair to traditional steakhouse offerings. The first among Royal Caribbean’s fleet to offer the new menu, Chops Grille on Navigator of the Seas will feature brand new selections, such as the Veal Chop Parmesan, slow broiled with caramelised shallots and topped with parmesan herb butter, a Slow-braised Short Rib of Beef with Bordelaise sauce, and a Dry-aged Steak Burger served on a brioche bun and topped with melted gruyere and pancetta. Guests also can still enjoy Chops Grille classic cuts, such as the 8 Oz. Filet Mignon, served with Béarnaise butter, and a 10 Oz. Grilled Sirloin Steak, as well as a range of new and delicious signature appetisers, soups, salads, and sides – such as new, decadent Truffled French Fries and Gruyere Cheese Tater Tots – that will complete the experience in the cruise line’s hallmark specialty restaurant. Chops Grille steakhouse has a service charge of $35 per guest.

Chops Grille also features two new premium selections of the finest quality cuts of beef in the world, a 16 Oz. dry-aged NY Strip Steak and a 20 Oz. dry-aged Porterhouse Steak (an additional $18 and $19 respectively), each USDA prime beef, dry-aged for four weeks to achieve the pinnacle of flavour, tenderness and aroma. This dry-aged process can only be found at select steakhouses around the world, and now, in a cruise industry first, is offered onboard Royal Caribbean International’s Chops Grille.

  3. Thank you again and again for the time spent (and spending ) on this review!

I really feel like we will be getting our money's worth knowing so much before we go!

Do you know which forum I could join that does a dress exchange? It seems like I read about women sending their dresses to others after a cruise, free except for S/H, I think this is so smart because a lot of us don't want pictures with same dress on multiple cruises , lol

  4. I have done trip reviews for my last few cruises. I enjoy doing it almost as much as planning for the actual cruise itself. I try to pass along some tips and tricks along the way that I have learned. I also tend to plan all private tours after exhaustive research trying to find the best deal with the highest ratings on either Cruise Critic Port Boards or Trip Advisor.

I'm a visual person so I love photos and try to post as many as possible too. Folks that like just to read can skip the picks and still get lots of info & those who hate to read can skip the typed word & just look as pics.

So, yes. I am planning a very long detailed report on our Mediterranean cruise which will include 2 days in Tuscany/Pisa/Florence & 2 days in Rome pre-cruise as well as 2 days afterwards in Barcelona.

I hope that you will follow along :)

When is your Mediterranean Cruise? How soon can you plan a trip like that?

  5. I have a thread on the Virtual Balcony on my review just posted as to not spam the info.

Next you asked about Izumi, I plan on posting all about it later tonight.

There are 5 speciality restaurants that i know of onboard Sabor (Modern Mexican) don't know the cost Chops (steak house) $30 per Izumi (Japanese) works just like an actual restaurant with each item priced Giovanni's Table (Italian) don't know price maybe $20 and Johnny Rockets (50's burger and shake

Is Johnny Rockets $5? Also read somewhere that they serve breakfast free in there?

  6. Been on the ship for a couple of hours. According to my Fit Bit I've walked 8273 steps, 3.5 miles & 30 flights of stairs.

I've taken a ton of pics & got pics of VB as well as video.

No Coke Freestyle Machines... Sorry, whoever asked.

Having lunch in the WJ then hope to go to our room & upload a few pics before muster.

    Remember... Patience is a virtue.

Just curious do you have a Fitbit Flex or Force? Lol

I just got the Force and I'm not very happy with the way it counts steps, the count is always too low.

  7. A cabin crawl is organized by members of a Roll Call thread by asking for volunteers to open their staterooms for a quick tour.

You try to get different cabin types so that people have a chance to see staterooms that they have never stayed in. This gives people the opportunity to see an inside (some people love them! others are afraid they might have claustrophobia - this gives them a chance to check it out). Other's have never seen a balcony or Junior Suite and wonder if the expense is worth it. And then there are the suites :) Royal Family Suite, Owner's Suite, Grand Suite, etc. that most of us have never stayed in but have always wanted to know what they looked like!

Most are usually done on a sea day and most often in conjunction with the Meet & Mingle. As in the case of the ones I've been involved in, sometimes a Poker Run is added to the cabin crawl.

If you haven't already done so, check out the roll call for your cruise and you may find something is already in the works.

  8. We will be on the 2/5 sailing and BFF's are staying in a VB which will also be on our cabin crawl.

I'm planning to do a pictorial review that will have a ton of pictures. I will start it Wed morning 2/5 on the way to Galveston.

Hoping to post the first pics before we leave port!

I'll get the info you have requested & report back.

    Hi there!

I'm a newbie for RCCL, our cruise leaves on June 29th. I was wandering what a cabin crawl is?

  9. We were booked for cave tubbing but when we got to our port we were told it had been cancelled due to high waters from the day before.

They offered us an excursion to do 4 wheelers in the rain Forrest , I'm in my 40's and had never been on a 4wheeler before but it was so much fun and they made us very delicious lunch of jerk chicken and rice!

This company was so nice, some of the employees took our own cameras and ran along side of us taking pictures and video, this was so great because it would have been difficult trying to take pictures and driving at the same time.

The company we used was explorebzcaves

I emailed Dennis P at explorebzcaves at yahoo dot com
