  1. Yes you can remove them.

Why would you? Because some people prefer to tip what they want to whomever they want.

Matter of personal preference. Hopefully most people will remember that the service industry has a low hourly wage and deserve tips for good service.

  2. I'm also curious about the prices. When talking to one of the tour operators in Bayahibe Village, I was quoted $60 round trip per taxi (1-5 passengers) 6 passengers would be $65. The drop off point is in the village, which is just beside Dreams. I was wondering if that is an accurate price, or if negotiating on my own would be better.

Hopefully someone has been to Dreams lately.

What is the current price of a Dreams day pass?

  3. Hi ParRoo,

In Curaçao you do not need a boat for snorkeling! You can do it all from shore. Exeptions are where it is not acesable by car. Check out shorediving dot com, for info.

Excellent, I will check out that site!

Are there any sailboats that can be chartered? A few of the non snorkelers would like to sail, so we thought we could combine the two.

  4. Looking to charter a small boat for a snorkeling day trip. When in St. Thomas we spent the day exploring and snorkeling. Just our group of 6. Anyone have suggestions on where I could find something similar in Curacao?

  5. We are going to be in port from 2pm to 11:30pm. Thought we would go to DePalm Pier area for a few hours on the beach. Would like to do happy hour and then looking for a lively bar area for later on.

    Any suggestions?

  6. How is the restaurant at Porto Marie? Nice views with good food? We are looking forward to our tour with Natasja and we are trying to finalize the details of our tour. Trying to decide if we should snorkel and eat here or try a different spot for lunch. Thanks in advance for any opinions!:)

  7. A quick question for any Freedom repeaters...

If you take a look at the deck plan... http://www.carnival.com/Deck_Plan.aspx?shipCode=FD

What is the white space between cabin 8373 and 8391?

I am assuming it is the service area Ie: service elevators, supplies, dumb waiters etc.. If so, has anyone experienced this area...noise etc..

    No big issue, just curious..

    Thanks

I am also interested in this info. That is one of the cabins we have been offered and upgrade to.
