Caribbean Paddling has a great excursion. They pick you up a the ship and take you out to the bay (very quiet and easy paddle) includes kayak or paddleboard. dry bags, optional picnic lunch. Row over to Pinel Island grab a chair and umbrella. bar service and restaurant available. they meet you back at the beach at whatever time you agree upon. Great service. we had a wonderful beach day trip!!

Yep. Sure can. We land in Rome and are flying out of Venice 11 days later. Booked Air2sea for a really great rate.
-
How close to sailing are you? Documents are released approx 49 days out.
-
Air2sea has great return flights from Europe. We got Venice to Denver for $400 each. Book as early as possible when they are available.
-
Hey, are you on our roll call also? Very active group. See you onboard!!

Not a shore excursion. We went over to Columbus Cove and rented for $15 for about half hour. Stay within the ropes but it's a large area. Great service.

We are on the Jewel spring transatlantic. We arrive in Rome April 12th. We are staying a few days and flying home from Venice. We booked our flights a few months ago Lufthansa Venice to Denver for $400 each. With a very short stop in Frankfurt and direct into Denver. Glad we booked when we did.

I take a small skein of cotton crochet thread and a small hook to make coffee cup copies. Then I can give them away to others.

Courtyard marriott in Miramar is nice. Grocery, pharmacy and many restaurants within a few blocks.

Several years ago, we landed in Seattle and took the bus to Vancouver.
At that time, Amtrak had one train (first one of the day) around 6:30 am or so. The rest of the trips were by bus. I remember the bus left from the Amtrak station because we met my dad there who had come in on Amtrak from a different state. The bus took about 3-4 hours to get up to Vancouver. But we had young man who had recently visited Amsterdam on our bus and that held us up at the border for awhile.

Might as well get it out of the way.
LOL- love it!!

One of the things you could use as scavenger hunt are the small wonders. There are 20 on the ship. You can get a list of locations all over the ship. It still took us over two hours to find them all. Half look like little binoculars on a pedestal and the other half look like a metal cannon stood up on end. Each one has a 3d scene inside. Look it up online for the list. We enjoyed wasting part of a sea day.

I had to be sure I was NOT signed in to my account. Like I was sending a gift. Then it found the correct reservation.

We bought a hard plastic box with a security lock that attaches to chair or tree near our Seats. Lots of people also like the Kyss bags.

the people that run the pinel island paddle boarding are up and running. they have been helpful in answering questions like one of the restaurants on pinel is operational. but of course biased to their own business.
We booked with Caribbean paddling for April 8th for the trip out to Pinel Island and picnic lunch. So excited!

Compare many companies and plans on insure my trip dot com

Have you found any small wonders yet? 3D views inside each one. Some look like binoculars, some like cannons standing up. 20 in all over the ship.

The sailings in Europe are there in May. It has to get there somehow. Maybe it's all full?

Wipe out cafe has a great breakfast. Solarium cafe is also a nice place for lunch instead of the Windjammer. Loved the Central Park for evening strolls.

We have snorkel at Cemetery reef. If the weather is good, it's great snorkel. There is no amenities, not many people and might
be tough to catch a cab back to town. Just be careful and don't go by yourself.
-
The machine on the Allure in the Wipeout café was out of service the entire week we sailed. if you are on the upper floors- go to the windjammer. If you are on lower floors - swing by Sorrento's.
-
Wipe out cafe has fresh made omelettes and most of other offerings. Never crowded.
-
We were on deck 6 on the splendor in the very corner cabin. The glasses were vibrated off the counter when docking one day. The noise is mostly when docking or leaving port . A serious consideration.
-
We were on the Allure in October. we didn't get to the Windjammer till the last sea day when it was less busy. Ate at the Solarium café and the Wipe Out café. Wipe out café actually had fresh made to order omelets and better OJ than the other venues. Loved Central Park for evening strolls. Live musicians most nights. Had no trouble getting into shows in the stand-by line. Best show is the Ocean-aria!

Mine wasn't changed several weeks after our cruise. I called and was told to erase and reenter my c& a number. Not to copy and paste. As soon as I saved it updated. Some website glitch.
