I have no issue with anyone's status. I could not care any less what anyone's status is and have no interest in advertizing mine. You are the one that brought up the notion of singling out a group of people as the reason for the topic of this thread. Prices are up because, apparently, people are paying them. It isn't complicated.
I still think you have an issue.

I was in a Jr spa suite last week we were allowed to eat only dinner in coastal kitchen no breakfast or lunch. It's stated on dailies
Make sure you make reservations because there's limited availability. I enjoyed dinning there.

And when the Pinnacles board they all go back to living the good old days of prohibition?
When I was on board the Oasis last month there were only 4 Pinnacle and over 300 Diamond members. Pinnacle Members don't get any more complimentary drinks on their cards than the Diamond Members. My wife and I don't drink alcohol so I couldn't care less what the price of drinks are. Seems like you have some issues with Pinnacle Status.
-
Drink prices are way too high in my opinion, but someone has to pay for all the free drinks given to the Diamond Crown and Anchor members.

DH and I are booked in a Junior Suite on Harmony next year. We're going to be sailing with DS and his wife, who are booked in a balcony. Can I add them to.my reservation for Coastal Kitchen for dinner?
We were on the Oasis two weeks ago and invited a couple that were in a balcony cabin. We had them join us twice during the cruise. You do need a gold card to enter the CL so you may not be allow access. Being in a JS does not allow you Gold Card Privileges. If the Concierge allows you to reserve dinner in the Costal Kitchen with out a Gold Card it is because there is space available and you're in a JS. I know of a couple of times when Suite Guests complained about not being able to dine in the CK because Diamond Plus Members were reserving tables. If your invited by a person carrying a GC there's no problem. Being in a JS doesn't give you the right to inviting other guest.

You shouldn't have to ask for your guest copy. There's a lot of information you might need on your copy. I bet there's not a TA out there that doesn't get their agents copy. I don't know about booking on line because I always book through the cruise line or through a TA. So far I have always received my guest copy.

Today, January 21, 2016, we went to the mail box and found an envelope from Miami. It was our luggage tags for our March 5 cruise on Adventure out of San Juan, PR.
It seems early, but brings the cruise closer than ever.
Yes, that is early. We received our tags Monday and our sail date is the 30th of this month.

I beg to differ with the person that said you have to fill out the travel portion on signing in. I haven't fill it out for my last 6 cruises. I hated that part of signing in until some one from Royal told me it wasn't necessary. Made my life a little simpler.
-
I never fill out the travel plans at all. Can't you just skip it and go to the next page?
This is true. You DO NOT have to fill out the travel plans. Any gift certificate has to be redeemed 10 days prior to the sailing date. The gift certificate will not expire, you can use it on a future cruise. What you have to fill out on line is for your SETSAIL PASS -- You need this at the terminal. Do you have a travel agent or did you book your cruise through Royal Caribbean? They should be able to help.

The DL is not going to go away.

Prices have jump up for non-seasonal weeks in the last year also. Prices have always been higher when children are out of school and really spike when there are fewer cabins available.

If I had a panic problem in crowds I certainly would avoid booking a cruise. Of all the places I've been no place is more crowed than a cruise ship. I don't have this problem, however I hate being in a crowded elevator and really hate the muster drill. Exiting the theater is another unbearable experience, and I don't have an anxiety disorder. How does one cope with a whole week of crowds?

I have been in all 3 categories. The outside ocean balcony cabins are like being on any other ship with the same type cabin. An inside balcony cabin you'll only experience on an Oasis Class Ship. I didn't like the Central Park balcony cabin as much as I liked the Boardwalk balcony. On the Boardwalk balcony I felt more in the open because I had some view of the water. Also, there is a lot more going on with the Aqua Theater and other activities. The Central Park balcony seemed to me more loud probably because there is no open end like you have on the boardwalk. I'll take any type of balcony cabin over an inside or an ocean view cabin

Yes. I always leave my phone on airplane mode and use my phone for pictures and videos. Never had a problem.

I was on the Navigator in November and noticed the Wi-Fi was much faster than previous cruises. I would suggest you ask some one that's using the internet when your on the ship before you purchase any minutes.
-
Wow! what an experience. I don't know about anyone else, but I feel like I was along on the cruise with you. I was actually feeling the hurt went you left the ship. I wish I could take your family along with me when I board the Oasis in 18 days because you made me feel like part of your family--THANK YOU! I hope I have the privilege to meet all of you on a cruise in the future.

As you go back from the bridge on deck 14 your view of the aqua Theater should be better, at least I hope so because I'm in 14309

How much to just sit in the shade under the tree?;):)
Actually you can sit in the shade under a tree and even get a lounge chair and have the buffet for free. The only glitch is you need a gold seapass card.:(

I've been in a Promenade Cabin on deck 6, 7, and 8 and never had a noise problem. I've also been in outside ocean view cabins on deck 2 and 3 and had no complaints. If I had to make a choice I would take a PR because I like the seat by the window. To me it makes the room feel bigger. It mostly depends on the price of the category, inside cabins are less expensive except for the PR's. Booking a guarantee gives you a chance to jump up a category or two. You never know, but at least you get the best price -- there's nothing wrong with that scenario.
-
Yes, the prices have doubled. Even sharing the cost with friends doesn't seem worth it to me. I'll be in Labadie in a few weeks and I'm going to check out how many are vacant just to satisfy my curiosity.

I'm shaking my head as I read these posts about people getting upgrades and not happy about it. I would be happy and grateful if I got any kind of upgrade but it hasn't happened for a long time. I doesn't matter any more if you have one cruise or 100 cruises since the revenue dept. started handling the upgrades.

On the Navigator for 12 days in November and had it every night.

I've always just clicked on the tab that comes up that says order luggage tags. This way you don't have to wonder or make any phone calls!
You're right--that's the best way.
Heads up, wow sale on some cruises started today

Here's a real deal. A GGG price of $499 for a Promenade Cabin on the Navigator sail 23 Nov 2018. Just 6 cabins left. It's a 9 night cruise.
