  1. Hi All-

    How easy it for to get an Uber or Lyft pickup at the Port of Miami when arriving back as opposed to scheduling one in advance? Since we don't know exact timing on when we will be getting off the shift, scheduling in advance is tricky.  What have other people done?  Thanks

There are multiple chair & umbrella rental places and all are not created equally.  The lounges and umbrellas at some spaces are much nicer than others.  Many reps from the chair rental places hang out near the water taxi drop off and try to get the new folks as they come off the taxi.  My advice is to walk around a bit and see the set up & location you like then negotiate with the location.  Some of the locations are affiliated with a restaurant and will serve food/drinks while you are on the beach.  Also make sure that the place you are renting from has access to a bathroom that you can use. If drinks are included in the rental make sure you know exactly how many and if they are alcoholic or non-alcoholic.

  3. We have eaten there several times. Typically I'd say our meal lasts 1.5 hours. It kind of depends upon how hungry you are.  The salad bar is available as soon as you sit down.  Thereafter they come around with the different meats frequently.  You can ask for repeats on any that you enjoy.   Great experience! Enjoy!

  4. We have done this multiple times pre-covid.  There are numerous places to rent chairs & umbrellas. All charges roughly the same price but quality of chairs and umbrella can be very different. Make sure you know exactly what you are getting for your money.  Also, some of the places have access to restrooms.  This is helpful as well. Make sure you ask prior to paying.   

     

    Along the boardwalk there are numerous restaurants where you can get lunch.

    Received email today that Dec 24th Harmony sailing has an itinerary change from St Thomas to San Juan. We are very disappointed with this. Anyone have any insight on why they changed ports?

    Here is the fine print from the member benefits.

     

    No bonus gift will be delivered on sailings less than 3-Nights. Only one bonus gift will be delivered on sailings between 3- and 6- Nights. All selections must be made at least 10 days prior to sail date. If no selections are made before the time prescribed above, then no order will be placed. Orders and/or substitutions cannot be placed on or after boarding day. Diamond Plus members and their travel agents can contact a Loyalty Specialist to select an amenity by calling (800) 526-9723 and pressing 9 at any time during the greeting message. All orders are per household and will be selected according to the primary member selection in the relationship.   8. Hi All-

     

    Has anyone had any success showing something other than their Vaccination Card as proof of vaccination. My daughter lost her card.  She received her vaccination at a NYS run facility and NYS say they do not replace lost cards.   Instead they sent us her complete immunization record. She also has her NYS Excelsior Pass. 

     

    Wondering what Royal has accepted as Alternate Vaccination Proof.
