  1. As I stated..it was my son and family on cruise..D618. They got the a/c working only to have it go out again. They were given a fan…I will get the final outcome tomorrow. They were extremely disappointed with the lack of sympathy from guest services…sorry only goes so far. Thanks for all the suggestions..I did pass them along to him.

    i have never had Princess specifically tell passengers in literature or otherwise say  if you have a balcony cabin you must keep the balcony  door closed. ( it would be posted on slider or in cabin)There are plenty of us that like to keep our balcony door open and listen to the ocean as we sail. Some hotel rooms, once you open the sliding door the air conditioning goes off ,don’t think this happens on any Princess  ship ,but I could be wrong about that. So if this was truly happening (I.e. other cabins will be affective  temperature wise if your cabin slider is open)Princess  would advise us to keep cabin balcony door closed,just like no smoking in your cabin is definitely explained.

     

  3. So, 40 days out and just got an email from RC, stating due to a change in plans, your excursion has been canceled. This was booked and paid for months ago. Now, most of the tours are sold out and we’re stuck trying to find something to do in Marseilles, France. So disappointed with RC..not even offering alternatives. If anyone has any ideas…would be greatly appreciated.

    I was on Caribbean..Canada to Fll and there was bingo..in Club Fusion. Very well attended ☺️

  5. I just got off a cruise yesterday. On day one, we were bothered by a squeaky door. We asked our steward if he could get someone to see about it. Within 30 minutes…it was done. We tried to give him some cash, and he refused it. He said we should wait until the end of the 14 day cruise. He was so good, he worked around our comings and going to service the cabin. He always greeted us by our names and asked if we needed anything. We gladly tipped him on the last day.

    UPDATE…after 3 submissions of the correct documents, FINALLY got the credit posted with the help of live chat ( 2nd try with live chat).Now just have to hope our Canada cruise is a go. Lesson learned..be persistent.

    Right.  We're on the repo that sails on 10/20.  If I go to the sailing and look at excursions, it's still allowing me to book them.  Would they still take my money when they are contemplating cancelling?  I would hope not!

    Good point..the excursions are available to book. Thanks for pointing that out.

    sometimes it’s hard to see the OBC on the site. But it was there.   
    chat is the best and easiest way to check.  
    super smooth and easy.   
     

    Used chat, who told us to send in documents…for 3rd time. I guess you just have to be lucky. Never had this issue with my stockholder benefit before. Sadly, Princess just ain’t what she used to be.

     

  9. Princess customer service is pitiful. We sent in request back in June and got the auto reply. Got a second copied email from Carnival to Princess..stating Princess should apply credit. Still no credit. On line with help..and am told we need to send in info..they never got. This is such BS. I am just so fed up with Princess and their complete lack of customer service. Argggg.

    Just made final payment also..and was on the Crown in June. Not sure I can handle another cruise with problems. My only saving grace is we had friends on Caribbean a couple of weeks ago with no problems at all. Fingers crossed.

    Up date..yesterday my original flight showed up at the original price and I was able to pick seats…whew. Also got copy of email sent to Princess to credit my trip with $/250 stock credit aaaannnd, I got my credit for the doomed Crown cruise. Good day in regards to all things Princess.

    Now I'm scrambling to figure out what's going to happen because it was ezair flex and we didn't do early ticketing. The same itinerary (same flights too so why did they cancel) are 1000+ more.

     

    Conspiracy theory is that they promised the tickets for too cheap so they are now backing out. 😅

    I am in same situation..flight canceled but same exact flight still shown..only triple the price. I have spoke with ezair twice and each time told it will work out in 3 to 5 business days. I do have printout with original price. My final payment is due on July 22, without flight info worked out I will be forced to cancel cruise. No way I’m paying $800 plus for one way from Florida to Quebec:(
