BopRN- When looking at the card online, it would show up as an offer to select from

Just curious if anyone has seen the offer over last few months? Our final payment is due on 8/24 and trying to hold off til then to see if anything happens to pop up again :)

Curious about the hotel portion as well. I currently have Hyatt House and Hyatt Place booked - it will be 5 of us staying the night before the cruise. Any differences between the two or one you recommend more than the other? The House is about $40 but than the Place - so clearly not an issue on which we go with. Just want to comfortable.

I talked with my doctor about our upcoming cruise In December on Adventure to the southern Caribbean as my husband and I are considering starting a family sooner rather than later and the first words out of her mouth were "Aren't you concerned about Zika?" My mouth dropped bc when is the last time you've heard about Zika? She recommended we wait on kids until after we get back. I asked the woman who we set up an excursion with in St. Kitts if Zika was an issue there still and she said no-which this link confirms!
Kalliekae-thanks for providing the link as I will continue to follow it.

We booked our reservation with my parents and cousin-so 3 rooms total with TA. When my cousin officially booked our balcony room was about $1900 and the TA said she can do group booking which will block other rooms and our price dropped to $1600 bc of this. I asked if there was any penalty for those other blocked room not being fulfilled by us and she said nope they can use them for anyone else who may be interested that calls them or will release them back when we get closer. I was skeptical too about it but after she explained it made sense. Just one of the perks I guess of using TA!

Agree with above about going to St. John via boat from st Thomas and go to trunk bay. It was amazing!!
The snorkeling trail is along the rocks and my husband said it was really cool

When we sailed oasis our muster station was in the dining room...so we ended up just sitting at the tables. Found it odd bc the cruise before that we all stood outside in rows so I guess it depends on the ship too!

We just booked Hyatt city center bc of the price for 5 of us in one room and it includes breakfast $273/one night including taxes etc! Since it doesn't appear too far and the ship doesn't leave until later we can take our time and thankfully you don't have to worry about distance too much when choosing

I've had my royal cc for 10 years now and I cannot tell you how many fraudulent charges they caught and handled before I was even aware and sent me new cards. This is amazing service on their end however I learned this effects your credit. Bc When I was looking to buy a house -to those looking at your history it looks like you are opening and closing credit cards. The funny part is the initial loan we were securing was through Bank of America and the mortgage rep said you really need to stop opening and closing cards and I said what are you talking about and then it dawned on me it was all the various times they caught charges shut down the acct and sent me a new card. I asked her how it was that she couldn't see it being a Bofa rep and she had no answer [emoji58]

We have adventure booked next year and were flying direct from Baltimore but my cousin is coming from Phoenix-can I ask which airline you flew and sorry if I missed it did you fly home same day and if so what time was your flight? She's kind of anxious bc there doesn't appear to be many options flying home for her on saturday

Hurricane that hit two years ago I think it was my parents and their friends were all going to Bermuda
They got on the boat, they forewarned everyone they had the option to get off with refund or stay on and they will try to get to Bermuda.
Needless to say they didn't make it to Bermuda and the boat went out and stayed next to Virginia for the entire duration of the cruise.

Our first cruise many many years ago on Grandeur of the Seas out of Baltimore we had no status and were upgraded from balcony to family suite and it was amazing! Our next cruise isn't until Dec 2017 on Adventure and while we have a balcony booked secretly hope and pray [emoji51]

Cannot wait to read more b/c we booked Adventure for Dec 2017 so I'm in the research stage of where to stay the night before - how far away from port, taxi fees, etc and then of course the cruise itself and islands!! :)

We just booked this cruise last week and couldn't be more excited! I'm hoping time flies by because it feels forever away

Drinks package - are they worth it
in Royal Caribbean International
Posted
Hi All! I was wondering the same thing about drink packages for our upcoming Dec cruise- are they worth it. I don't drink a lot per se so was going to get for my husband and its $364 after taxes so that's about $60 over 6 days on the ship- doesn't seem unreasonable. Its been years since our last cruise and cannot recall any pricing -would things like Jack & Coke's, Frozen Cocktails/margaritas, etc all be covered under this package or have to pay out pocket for some?
