Booked on the 10/28/2018 Halloween cruise .

It is disturbing to say the least ,but unless someone who was involved in it was actually there when it all started then we will probably never find out what caused it to escalate into this brawl .

The passive ,aggressive approach by the security is not the best in these particular situations for obvious reason's .Knowing when to step in and deter such actions from escalating would be the wiser approach .

Strong armed approach ,,LOL ,,good way to start a major riot on a cruise ship ..

They are highly trained according to carnival ,,,LOL .Trained how to kick passengers when they are on the ground is there way it looks like .Doesn't cost anything to train them how to do that .

The Debarkation process is a nightmare .Having 2k passengers go up to deck 8 .or 9 and wait until they clear the ship and only one way off the ship is a debacle .They close off all the front elevator's ,so you have to use either the middle ,or aft elevator's.When you finally get off ,you have to walk out and into the terminal and go around in a circle around where they bring the luggage in to and then back out of the terminal and then back into the terminal to get to the outside parking lot .They have three CBP agents to check 2k passengers back in ,,save your money and go on a larger better ship .

Here is a small review of our cruise this past week on the Elation .Embarkation was ok ,but for the fact that we had to wait for customs to clear the ship ,no big deal .Overall the ship was no big deal even with the new additions of guys ,new bars etc ..The new cabins that they put up on the top of the ship that requires anyone who books a cabin up there beware because the elevator only goes up to deck 12 which means once you get off the elevator on deck 12 ,you will have to go up two flights of stairs .The Cruise director and his fun team were average at best ,the past guest party was rushed ,they did the usual movie ,intro of officers and all ,but kevin only stayed long enough to do that ,around 20 mins then took off to host an ugly sweater contest .Casino manager Ivan Stoianov on the Elation ,supervisors Alton ,Mark and pretty much the whole casino staff on the Elation need to take education classes on how to treat guests in the casino that they work in .There were a few dealers that were very outgoing and smiling ,but the rest looked like they had been sucking on a bag of lemons .Ivan and Alton had the personalities of a three bean salad and makes you really wonder how they got to be in the position that they are in.The beards as John Heald refers to , need to visit these casinos, un announced and really see for themselves how awful the casino on that ship and others are being run before they start losing a lot of business. I can say for certain I will not cruise on the Elation again for not only reasons mentioned above but for the overall experience ,and the cd kevin and his fun team were less than fun , very disappointed indeed.I will be giving the proper credit to the crew members who went above and beyond the scope of their job and yes these non-caring ppl who work in the casino's will also get the proper attention once I receive the survey from Carnival .The debarkation process in Jacksonville is the worst I have ever experienced .To call it a comedy of error's wouldn't do it justice .The people in charge need to rethink a lot of changes that has been made because it is ridiculous to say the least .Having guests go up to deck 8 -9 forward and wait until after 8 am before they release the elevator's that take over 2000 guests down to deck 3 to disembark is a bunch of crap .

Love your reviews we are going on the Elation December 11th -16th looking forward to your take on how it was .

That's all well and good for your needs ,but not everyone can afford $200 for the hotel and have to pay to park at the port also .

Most of the ones right off I-95 exit 363 jax airport have cruise package deals ,,spring hill suites ,,hilton ,,etc .

Capacity on the paradise is 2052 passengers .

58 Days going on the Elation .

Great pics thanks for sharing my gf and myself will be cruising on her Dec 11th .To us as long as we have a comfortable bed ,good location ,all is good cruising on Carnival and get's us outta dirty myrtle for a albeit brief respite ,it's a good cpl of days of relaxation .

Do all the ships with Red frog Pub serve bar food or is it only on the new ship's like

I had heard the Legend does's not.

Breeze ,magic ,vista are the only ones that I know of that serve the food in the pub .Anyone that know's different will surely correct me .

Hello all,

 

Does anyone have an idea as to what terminal the Magic will port from in Port Canaveral?

We like to pre-pay for our cruise parking and cannot do so without knowing the terminal.

 

We have been out of PC before from Terminal 10 on the Liberty.

With the other ships there at the time, we are just really curious.

So once I hit #15 on the Cheers package I decided to head back to the cabin around 12:00 am. When I got back to the cabin I saw that Josh was awake so that was a good thing. When he saw me he said he was ready to head to dinner.....hahahaha. I told him that he was about 6 hours too late...he couldn't believe that he slept through dinner. So he decided to order room service. The Carnival Elation has the new room service menu options with pay options....we ordered the chicken quesadilla and the chicken wings. The quesadilla was good....the chicken wings were a little too spicy for me.

 

So that concludes day #1 onboard the Carnival Elation....if day 1 was any indication how the rest of the cruise was going to go I knew that we were going to have a good time and I was happy to be onboard with my friends and KREWE family

Wow ,you didn't mess around getting to the 15 drink limit Brianna ,loving the review can't wait to see what the rest of the cruise holds for y'all .

No tandem riding and the height limit is 48 inches .

Oh yeah that is for sure. Just wait till ya see our shenanigans from the first day [emoji6] before we even had Muster Drill [emoji12]

No I'm just excited what y'all did on your cruise it's never a dull moment when the Krewe cruises.

After dinner at The Rum House we headed back to the hotel to start packing up and getting ready to board the Elation in the morning.

 

So that ends day #6 in the city of New Orleans....who's ready to join me on our adventure on the Carnival Elation
