Here's the thing about it ,they charge 4.95 for a liter water bottle in the room.So they are going to give you a 5 dollar water and save 10 dollars for for the drink coupon ,they just saved 5 dollars ,is it worth that little of a difference to lose loyal cruisers ? it must be worth it to carnival otherwise they wouldn't have done it.If it smells bad chances are it is bad.

Your cabin steward will have some just ask and they will provide you with one that is if you need one for a bottle of wine.

Great ship ,great crew .If you have ,or even if you haven't been to HMC ,or GT and Amber cove is a new port ,I would go and am planning to go on the Oct.11th cruise .Been on the Fantasy 3 times ,had great cruises each one .

I was wondering if Fillipe and Corey would be switching ships. It makes sense to me, given that Fillipe is bi-lingual (although I have no idea if Corey is or not). With Fillipe currently on Valor and if he's moving to Liberty when she moves to San Juan, it makes sense to keep him there, given that so many that cruise that route out of San Juan are Puerto Rican locals. I'm fine with this; loved Fillipe (woohoo!) when we sailed the Valor in 10/13 and going back to sail out of San Juan in Sept!

Last September when we were on the Liberty w/Cory as our CD in the q&a session that they do he explained the reasoning behind them switching in particular that Cory didn't speak any spanish and really connected w/for the most part the people that cruised on the Liberty and the same for Felipe .At that time it was just an idea that they both had come up with together and were hopeful that the Higher ups ,or Beards that John Heald calls them ,would allow them to switch.Now it seems that they will be making a great and beneficial decision for everyone involved kudos to them for that both CD's are very good at their job ,and I am looking forward to once again cruising w/Cory as our CD on the valor in March.

So I will taking over the Valor as of February 22nd. It is currently out of San Juan PR and will be moving to Port Canaveral sometime in April. Excited to start. New chapter on a new ship. Anyone gonna be there in February? Mary Christmas Everyone!!,,The only correction in there that needs to be made is the Valor will be making a 5 day repo cruise on march 22nd to Port Canaveral .The first departure out of PC for the Valor will be an 8 day eastern Carib. itinerary on March the 27TH .

Felipe Couto,until the Valor switches with the Liberty in march .Cory Rogers and Felipe will then switch ships .

No ,it is not like the dream class ships where deck 5 lanai goes all the way around the ship .The liberty has a walking track up on deck 10 .Can't tell you about the gym ,never went in there .

Ok. You have to spend $57 a day for the package which includes 15 drinks a day. Cheapest beer on ship 15 of them +gratuity comes to $85.40 a day. Not including taxes in home port. And that is just cheap beer, not Funship specials, not frozen drinks which would run up to $154.40 a day. It still sounds like a good deal to me,

IMHO I think he should be a CD ,great ppl. skills ,very fun and interacts w/the guests ,maybe in the near future with the new positions being available Carnival will give this young man a chance.

his real name is christopher salazar ,we had him on the fantasy a cpl. years ago ,very funny guy.He is still n the Fantasy at present for 10 days then he goes home to Australia for vacation.He will be on the Sensation in November.

You might want to try and ask John Heald ,he could possibly let you know who it will be once the dry dock is over.

He will be on the ecstasy for 17 days then he goes on vacation.

Normally only the bars on the lido deck are open.The back aft bar areas are a good place to meet ,or the Atrium bar area.

Received our balcony guarantee assigned cabin 31 days out on the verandah deck 8 midship .

Anyone know if you can book the chair lift on the ship or do you have to pay at the lift? I'm trying to figure if I need to take some extra cash since there will be 10 of us and I am hesitent about using my credit card in Roatan. THANKS.

yes ,they are 15 mins away by taxi ,walk out of the port area and catch the taxi ,they don't charge as much .A taxi to the palm beach /moomba beach is 11 dollars flat rate up to four ppl.
