Can anyone give their experience on booking Carnival's shore excursion Berlin by train including Sachsenhausen Camp from Warnemunde? Looks like it might be a chartered train with no AC? Were there bathrooms onboard, what was the meal/snacks, were you able to see all the sights or was it a very quick driveby in a bus once you reached Berlin vs walking tour? Would you recommend or not and why? Any and all info you can provide on Carnival's excursion, an outside tour operators bus tour of the same, or taking the non-chartered train on your own to Berlin to only do some sights in Berlin (not including Sachsenhausen Camp) would be greatly appreciated.

We'll be on the 7/1 Pride cruise. In Skjolden, I'd love to see Urnes Stave Church, but haven't found an easy way to get to it.
Were you able to find a tour operator to get to Urnes? Struggling with what to do in this port!

Wondering if anyone has done the shipwreck snorkel tour and if so, how was it? How does it compare to any other place you've ever snorkeled? Ie Cozumel, St. thomas, Australia, etc. etc. THANKS

Tried a search but couldn’t find suggestion on how best for 2 people to transfer from Port of Miami to Port of Everglades. Back to back cruise on different cruise lines. Many thanks in advance!

sure, if Cheers was enough spend-if I remember correctly the last offer I had (it was a while ago) I had to spend $750.
I'd like to use the current $100 to get back $35 with Chase, but I currently have more than enough gift cards to pay off my cruise
I have multiple $35 off $100 with Chase. But the website is not allowing gift card purchases to go through. Thus the reason to buy Cruise Cash and not just Cheers package (which you can't buy with multiple cc's like you can split a deposit or cruise fare. Amex promos were for cruise fare only and would not have worked with Cheers or excursions. They are expired and gone anyway.

Thanks all. I was told by Carnival rep that I could pre-buy the cruise cash, and it loads onto the account and you can pre-purchase excursions, drink package, etc. BEFORE you cruise. If this worked, I would get 35% discount by purchasing cruise cash with certain credit card offers (which expire before sailing), and also get the 10% discount of purchasing Cheers package pre-sail. So, yes, in my opinion, it'd be worth it IF it worked that way! 🙂

Are you trying to get the GC or cruise cash to purchase cheers once onboard? It's a better deal, if you're planning ahead to just purchase Cheers before you board at the "discounted" rate.
Would purchase cheers before the cruise but want to with pre-loaded cruise cash. If that's possible?

After sitting on hold for 45 minutes, decided to hang up and ask the experts here instead! Can't get a gift card purchase to go through so wondering if I can buy cruise cash and then combine a few to contribute towards ordering a Cheers package. Thank you in advance for your wisdom!

Have you tried getting the discounted gift cards thru AARP? They are $450 for a $500 card or $90 for a $100.
Last time I bought some for a Mardi Gras sailing in September they were almost instantly printed, not sent USPS.
Trying to get $100 gift cards with a $35 back promo from Chase bank.

Any new update as to how to get a gift card purchase to go through?

Anyone else having issue purchasing a Carnival gift card through the website? I've cleared cookies, tried different browsers, and called them all to no avail. Keep getting various "bank decline" messages all the while the bank (Chase) says they see nothing on their end and they are not declining the transaction.

Just make sure your TA pays Royal directly, not ABC Travel Agency. Why not just go into your cruise planner and purchase these things? It doesn't have to be one transaction for the offer.
Because I want it applied towards my balance which needs to be paid through the TA and just a little something extra to put me over $1500. I don't want to purchase additional $1500 worth of extra items right now on the cruise planner. Having a friend use their offer for me so want it easy for them.

Gratuities, shore excursions, drink and dining packages.
Ok, didn't realize they could be done through TA vs purchasing those items directly thru RCL. Thanks!

Booked thru a TA. Final balance is $1300. Have the $1500 offer saved. What can be added thru a TRAVEL AGENT to bump it beyond $1500?

This is quite interesting to me. Several different answers above. Anyone with a 100% definitive answer? 🙂

Do Diamond members get a discount on buying a drink package? I think not but someone on a FB group is insisting there is a Diamond discount on the package...
-
I did a search and I've read about MSC matching to NCL, but will NCL status match to other cruise lines?
-
-
Are all of these combinable? Book onboard for obc, receive diamond balcony or suite discount, get shareholder obc? How about mLife rewards obc?
-
Did you end up booking this? Anyone?

Getting differing responses as to where to go once onboard the Harmony to attempt to change our main dining room seating time. Does anyone who has recently been onboard Harmony know best location of where to direct me to do so upon embarking? We are on waitlist to change but have not cleared.
-
Did a search but there are no recent threads. What is the current proof needed to qualify for military discount? Original DD 214 shown at check in, a copy shown at check in, a faxed/emailed in copy ahead of time, etc?

Thank you all. I will be on Brilliance and then Harmony!

I understand you can now charge up to $300 per transaction on a slot machine to your room. If you do so, do you have to play the entire $300 in one sitting? If you don't spend it all at once, can you leave it on your card or can you cash it out between visits to the casino?
Gel or dip manicure onboard?
in Carnival Cruise Lines

Are carnival spas equipped to do a gel or dip manicure onboard? How about soaking off previous gel? Going on B2B2B.
