  1. Thank you Pia, Pam, Bob and Amelia for your very insightful posts. :D I really enjoyed reading them every morning. No matter what anyone has said, I am not canceling our April TA. We will go and make our own decisions. :)

I take Clorox wipes to wipe down the cabin and bathroom. Didn't do it last December on a 2 week Caribbean on The Grand and David got very sick and was in bed for three days. Won't do that again! We also take practically a pharmacy with us so we are prepared for anything!

See some of you Sunday and some next week and everyone have a safe trip home wherever you are going.

  2. Boy, after reading this thread I am wondering why in the world did I book the spring TA on the Royal (except we have a wonderful CC group already).

Can you please post what you really like about the ship?

I sincerely hope Princess is reading this thread. It is not very becoming to the ship or Princess in general.:(

Thank you everyone for your "Live From" and taking the time and minutes to do it.

Linda....I agree about the wonderful CC group on the April TA. I'm one of them :D I am going to await judgement until I speak in person to my friends and family who are on this sailing. Everything is subjective as we all know and as of now, I'd still like to experience The Royal.

  3. Pia...loving your posts. So glad you found a 'wheelie!" It definitely woild have been too much to carry.

David still recuperating nicely and feeling much better, but packing to move is a bit much. We leave tomorrow for San Antonio.

Don't forget in Madeira to try and find Gatao Wine. It's delicious and I think you will love it. Well, knowing you, maybe not, but give it a try if you find it.

  4. Wow Pia...what a day!! we only saw Maxatone Graham once and had to stand in the back and it got to be too much because we couldn't hear well so we had to leave. Would love to hear him some time. Everything else sounds wonderful too! So much feasting is right. :D

So proud of Mike for having his sundae. :p David said to have one for him!! :D;)

  5. Any luck getting me some pictures of the obstructed balcony cabins so I can use them on my website? As far as I know they are all on the Emerald deck.

By the way, I like the "live from" treads also. I hardly ever comment on them but pretty well read them all.

    Theo

I love your obstructed view website. I had asked about them because we booked one for April on the Royal. Dave was nice enough to respond with this link. You now have your first pictures!!
