  1. It looks like the Armonia won't be traveling to Cuba from the US. any longer. I wonder when MSC will notify all of us that are booked for this cruise. We will just sit and wait for the official news and then make alternate cruise plans. We are scheduled to sail October 28,2019. We were fortunate to get  to Cuba last  month on the Armonia and loved it so much booked another cruise there.

  2. I just finished my first cruise on MSC and had to deal with CS for  reasons. Both times the call was answered promptly and the issues were taking care of immediately. One was to rebook before final payment because of a better promotion going on and the next was to upgrade from easy to premium drinks. The best part was the agent noticed I didn't receive my 5% off and put it in as a ship board credit. I think I received great customer service.

  3. We just finished our first cruise on MSC Armonia to Cuba. Let me just say how impressed we were with MSC. The service, Food, entertainment were some of the best we have experienced on a cruise ship. We have sailed over  50 plus times on other lines(Carnival, Princess, Cunard, Costa, RC and Celebrity).

The staff is well dressed and very professional (table bussers are in shirts and ties). You don't realize how much you miss the tablecloths on the dinning room until you have them every night( so nice not having glass sweat dripping all over the place).

MSC has 2 new fans and we can't wait to sail them again. We will always sail with Carnival when we can but finding another option is always good.

  4. I have enjoyed reading all the comments. We have sailed Carnival 35 times and will continue to sail on them.

We are giving MSC a try on Monday and are looking forward to our cruise, we travel to Europe often so not concerned with travel with a diverse group of passengers. I will report back when we return in May.

  5. We fly out of Naples often and you should be just fine. We stay in hotel along the waterfront about  minutes from the port. Traffic can be heavy around the port but once you clear the area it opens up. Expect  to be at the airport within 30 minutes or less. The airport is small and check in is easy.

But what would happen if the other cruise line also didn't go to somewhere else that you would like to go to or give you some sort of compensation.

All the cruise lines will be in the same position

I appreciate your thought however this cruise was sold as a cuba cruise with other ports of call. We also paid a few bucks more because of the fact it is a less traveled itinerary with less ships doing this route. Trust me after 50 plus cruises we have been on many ships where the port of call got cancelled for various reasons and we always had a good time and never asked or expected a form of compensation. (this cruise is just a little different). We have been fortunate to have gotten to Cuba a year ago and jumped at a second chance, however if it isn't meant to be we will do our best to enjoy the cruise with what it has to offer.

Agreed!  Miami is relatively Cuban anyway. Plenty to see and do there!

I use to live in Hollywood beach although I loved living down there I don't want to spend a week there on vacation. For a few dollars more we could have flown to Europe and taken a med cruise...LOL

You can still fly to Miami and hop on another ship or do a land vacation there. Lot of cruises leaving Miami daily. There will always be a Plan B if you are willing to improvise.

I have already checked and so far there is nothing available for when we are suppose to sail. I can at least book for a later date on another cruise line, I just need to change my airfare. I was just hoping the cruise line would give us the choice on if we should bother to fly down or just cancel.

  9. We are heading to Cuba (I think) on the April 29 Armonia sailing. If given the choice and the stop in Cuba was cancelled I would cancel the cruise and book the Seaside for a later date.

  10. We are booked on the Armonia sailing 04/29/19 I keep changing my dining time from early to late and save it however it stays at early. I have the Fantastica experience booked and my dining time should be guaranteed (I think). How easy is it to get it changed on the ship upon boarding? Thanks for your help.

  11. We have left the ship in Livorno and spent the night in Florence took the train to Rome the next morning had lunch in Rome. Then took the train to Civitavechia around 3pm. We did this on the Breeze and the Vista. We just went to guest services when we boarded and told them what we were goin to do, all they  aske was that we drop  off our passports the day before and pick them up before we left the ship. We also told our cabin attendant about our plans. Just a note we boarded the ship in Barcelona.

  12. Am I missing something I am booked on the Armonia for April 29,2019 and when I booked the Premium deluxe package was available. I just logged onto my booking to purchase the package and I can't find it any longer. Is the package only available on some ship/sailings or is something wrong with the web site?  any help will be appreciated.  Tom
