Having looked at the deck plan I can only see D3 cabins on 6 deck, what cabin number do you have on 7 deck

The Holland America forum awaits you.
Why do they keel haul the kids? great call if so.:D

Since I really don't care what people think, I'll be one of the rare to admit I've done this. I don't make a habit out of it, but I have very fond memories of showing up to the Radiance CL at opening and while getting caught up in conversation, laughter, a few drinks, and fun with the concierge, looking at my watch and realizing it was 8. This also happened once or twice on the Oasis (or maybe Allure...I don't remember). But to those who have an issue, I say so what? Isn't that what it's for?
And to the rest of you on this thread who have also done this, you're welcome for jumping on the grenade. ;)
I'm with you on the grenade don't normally use the CL but in the DL normal in the same seat, same bartender who we look after with a good tip and very rarely have a empty glass, what's wrong with that?

Haven't had time to read every post agree with dress code in MDR No shorts, dining room doors to be closed 15 mins after service begins, security to patrol deck after midnight for under age kids. Maybe have a area to hold them and those responsible for them have to go and collect them and be given a warning about their behaviour and maybe on the second occasion keel haul the kids that will stop them upsetting anyone else. :D
Adults only cruise would be a great idea and maybe around the world cruise.

Then you've only met suite guests, D+/P let you know :)
(Booked for 5th suite experience with RCCL - first was the best where we met two great and humble Pinnacle members - but D+ peeps are very quick to announce status from my limited experience in the lounge!)
The same can be said about some suite guests sailed on a 18 night med cruise and one of our other table guests mentioned that they where in a suite every night that they dined in the MDR the best nights at diner for the rest of the table guest where the nights that he was not there.

Went to Giovanni's on AOS in Nov and had a great night, wife and here friend both had steak, so the best of both worlds paste and steak.

St Lucia - Aerial Tram or Zip lining RCI trip.
Antigua - Nelsons dockyard RCI do a trip.
St Marten - Shopping and beach day.

We where on AOS on TA in November and it was being talked about then that as from Jan 15 CL would be suite only, looks like C&A have moved the dates until March now, ships with out a DL normally use the bar area up on the VCL on EOS it was the 19TH Hole for nightly events or the lounge on 5 deck dependent on how many D & D+ members are onboard. Lets wait and see how long it is until the Suite want the DL's because it is much nicer then the CL which are dark, out dated and to small.:

As you are MTD on the first night ask of a table for two and you should be OK,
if the service is good and you intended to dine at the same time each night before you leave ask if you can have the same table and staff of the rest of the cruise. Enjoy

We did the same cruise after the transatlantic, just remember that Adventure is now very Spanish orientated. As to trips we did the Best of Barbados a bit of a let down, we booked this on-line before we left and on the web site it stated that you would see 30,000 orchids at orchid world, the closed we got was when the tour bus driver said to your right is Orchid world. Having already booked didn't read the trip info on-board which gave completely different info about this trip. St Lucia went on the aerial tram that we enjoyed, St Croix is a beach day and you can walk to a beach to the left at the end of the jetty about 10-15 mins walk.

Thanks for update will keep checking, enjoy the rest of your cruise.

Hi Nicky, can you update later in the week about any signs of norovirus heading out Sunday 2nd for 21 days. Cheers

B2B are different on each ship and port the first we did we had to leave the ship, the last on explorer in NYC we did not saying that it was 2 weeks after Sandy hit, best bit knowing that you have a least another 7 days to enjoy. Our sea pass cards for the second cruise have normally been left in the cabin the last night of the first cruise. You will be given the info about where and when to meet the staff will take great care of you. Yes the ship requires a zero count if that means that you walk off then back on board it takes a few minutes which every way it goes just remember you have more days to enjoy:)

Have just looked $1 is equal to 0.79 euros take of what the banks make you may get about 0.73 euro for every dollar. When we travel from the UK into europe we exchange a few pounds into euros then use a debit card, have found you get a better rate. It's the same when we travel states side. Enjoy your trip.

Hi we did not get married but renewed our wedding vows back in 2002 and did not know when this would happen until we got on board and spoke to the staff. What ever happens good luck and enjoy your day my wife and I did when we entered the dinning room ever one stood and clapped:)

Does it effect any of us if RCI are tipping the staff serving the free drinks in the CL, DL or at the bars, we are not paying give the guy a tip. First night in the DL when our first drink arrives the guy or girl gets $10 and more as the cruise goes on, we never have a empty glass in front of us even when he or she is on a break as their ensure a friend looks after us.
O inde a few years ago one of the staff asked my wife if he could get her anything my wife asked if there where any strawberries about 5 mins late a plate full arrived, ever night when we arrived our drinks arrived and a plate of strawberries as well.
So I guess looking after the staff ensure we get looked after. That from a Brit who will always tip:).

If you booked with Choice Air I would call the airline first We just used them in Sept and any questions I had about the flights I called the airlines directly.
Thanks for the reply have how managed to speak to air line it appears that it is just something that is on the check in area and ever thing is paid in full.
Looking forward to 21 nights on board now without anything to worry about.:)
-
Did you try calling the airline?
No not yet hoping RCI can sort it out will try the airline as well.
Thanks

Need some help with contact details, have received cruise documents with flights booked with RCI. Been onto airlines web site to check seats and noticed that a flight sub total appears to be outstanding. Question is this normal if not does anyone know the correct email address for RCI UK air support team.
Have spoken to RCI already told to e-mail air support but believe I have been given the wrong address.
Travelling in 10 days and don't want a bill of $300 on arrival at airport.

Here we go. :D
The "official" guidelines are here:
http://www.royalcaribbean.com/beforeyouboard/whatToKnow/whatToPack.do
In practice some people follow the guidelines, some don't. You'll see everything from T shirts to tuxedos. They're definitely not strictly enforced. You'll find much less formal dress than 10 years ago I'm sure. Use your own judgement.
Edit: Of course Bob beats me to it haha.
Here we go was my thinking also.
In the Blue corner the formal dressers and in the Red corner the shorts and casual dressers let the contest begin LOL:D

Suffer Post cruise Depression from the minute we leave the ship suffering Pre Cruise Depression at the moment 2nd November can not come soon enough.
-
Think the policy has changed since the 3 drinks loaded onto sea pass cards before it was hit and miss at the nightly events and depended a lot on who was on the door as you left. Some staff would look the other way and some would stop you and either make you drink up or leave it behind. How you can leave the DL or CL at 2025 go to a bar and then take your drinks to dinner without a problem.

We did both ports in November, if cost is a factor then the second cruise to St Kitts is your answer, would also vote for St Kitts over St Croix two very different locations there are more trips on offer in St Kitts, one of the best is the scenic railway which has to be booked with Royal, found St Croix to be a little limited IMO yes a nice beach very nearby which you can walk to. If shopping is something you want to do then St Kitts is the place out of the 2, large shopping area at end of jetty, St Croix is lot of small traders selling local gifts more like a market.
Don't get me wrong St Croix is nice for a first time visitor but not somewhere I would want to visit again and again St Kitts is somewhere that I will never get tired of going to.
Enjoy your trip.
