Hi everyone - we are looking forward to a big family cruise on Nieuw Amsterdam in late August! Thanks to everyone for all the great info sharing. Have been reading through all the helpful tips in the group and I'm sure I'll have lots of questions in the next couple months .
My first question is about the extent of 'free' internet on board. In the Navigator app, under 'Connect' - there is a sub-option called 'Websites' which says that you can "Get free access to select Holland America Line partner websites while on board."
What does that mean, exactly? For example, we are NY Times subscribers already, does that mean we can access the NYT website natively without paying for internet access? I ask because I have a long crossword puzzle streak ongoing and would love to be able to keep it running while on our cruise .
