  1. If you have YTD (your time dining), a table for just the 2 of you will be what you are defaulted to unless you request to be seated with other people. If you are assigned a traditional dining time (late or early), it is possible to change by either asking the maître d or the hostess at the entrance. Prior to anytime dining we were always able to get moved to a table for 2 without any issues. Since they started anytime dining, we have always gone with that.

  2. Have a kinda goofy question regarding luggage tags, but has my wife stressed. Our printer is on the fritz and for some reason wont print the yellow color. So, even though the background on the tags on the screen are green, when printed, they are blue. My question is, is the color some kind of code as far as either sailing date, deck. or something else? All the information is correct, just the color is off. Should I just print in grayscale (black and white)? Or would the blue tags be fine even though they are supposed to be green? I know, silly stuff to worry about, but never ran into this before. Thanks for any info you could provide.

  3. Having trouble accessing my reservation. It shows up under "my reservations" but when I go to manage my reservation, it asks me for reservation #, last name, ship, and sailing date. Then gives me an error saying "not found" and to call xxx-xxx-xxxx for assistance.

  4. Thanks for the information. We are on the Equinox sailing in Sept. Was looking at probably 2 nights for the specialty dining. Once in Tuscan Grille and one night in Murano. Just trying to decide if it would be better to get the package or just hope for snagging a discount on board. Thanks again

  5. This is our first time on Celebrity. Was looking at the specialty dining packages as listed on the website. It mentions that packages must be purchased at least 2 days prior to boarding. Can the packages not be purchased on the ship? Also, if anyone could provide prices for each of the venues it would be much appreciated. Thank you

  6. We got it for free but everyone in the same room does not have to have the same package. Just the peace if mind not having to worry about costs are priceless.

    The other day i had:

    2 cappuccinos = $8

    2 premium oj = $8

    4 diet Sprites = $14

    4 bottles of water = $8

    4 martinis = $39

    2 glasses of wine $22

That is a total of $99 - win/win. To each their own.

Where did you get the premium OJ? And can you pick up bottled water at any Bar? Thanks so much for all the information. We will be on Equinox in September in a C3, so all the info is so helpful.

  7. Thanks for the information. Not sure if I can mention, but booked through Co##co. They did email me an invoice but there is no mention of OBC or drink package. There is a section titled "included extras", but only thing listed there is the $200 GC I got for booking through them. I know I got the perks because it was $700 more to book with the perks (classic drinks and $150pp OBC) and I was charged the higher amount. Like I said, not showing anywhere on Celebrity site either.

  8. I would expect you are correct. The cost to upgrade is the difference between the package prices plus the 18%.

Standard package is $45 per day and premium package is $65 - therefore the cost to upgrade from standard to premium is a per day charge of $20 + 3.60 ($23.60 as noted above.)

Class package is $55 per day - thus the difference of $10 + $1.80 ($11.80 per day) to upgrade.

Check your reservation to see what type of package was included as a perk to know how much you will have to pay to upgrade.

Where on your reservation can you see what package you have? I am supposed to have one, but showing nothing on the manage reservations on Celebrity site. I did book through another travel site.

  9. Yes you can book on the ship. We don't book packages but do book individual dinners however no more than a day or two in advance. We have got some good discounts- 2 for 1. Last cruise we ate in speciality restaurants 3 night and got 2 for 1 twice and 35% off on the other.

Longer cruises seem to offer better discounts. I guess demand wanes on about day 7 and lots of empty seats in the speciality restaurants.

Are the discounts advertised or announced or something you found out about by asking at the restaurant?
