I thought I had this figured out but guess not. Have the Go Best (all four perks) on our upcoming Connie cruise. No other dining time was available except anytime dining. The gratuities are being added to our cruisefare and the agent I talked to couldn't fix it even though our fare includes gratuities (go best). Does this get added as refundable OBC? Already have $400 of OBC and really don't need more.

I felt much safer living in both Germany and Italy than I ever have living in the US and that feeling will continue. Still crossing fingers to be able to spend more extended time over there again. I've been blessed to travel the world thanks to my husbands job in the military and truly feel it's an overreaction to cancel travel to Europe.

Passport control in Miami is horrible. It's probably the worse customs experience I've ever had when flying.

I have the same thoughts coming up on a 5 night Connie sailing. Except I don't think we will do a ship shore excursion...

I was able to get the basic frozen drinks on the classic package with no issues my last cruise. Piña coladas, daiquiris, mudslides etc

Thanks for the review. Doing the same itinerary in January!

It is serious. My dad was one of the first cases in Florida after a trip to Haiti for aid work. I'm not at risk but understand taking precautions for sure.
And we do have a ton of huge Mosquitos here in Alaska... Especially in the summer!

Antigua really took me by surprise :)

Just got mine for a January 30 cruise

We've done the self explore in the past and are again this one coming up. I'd rather save the few bucks and explore more and relax. But it's the same charter boat over for everyone in those tours.

Anyone booked a private tour? They quoted me $220 for Old San Juan forts and the cemetery and Bacardi distillery. This included lunch, hotel pick up (in Old San Juan) and cruise ship drop off at the Celebrity Summit. Seems like a pretty good deal since it includes lunch and we won't need a cab to the ship or distillery transportation either. Just curious if anyone has ever booked similar?

Try Hotwire maybe. We got the comfort suites for 129 in January.

Balloon crepe in Normandie. Yummy!!!

We've used Godfrey twice. The last time was a mess. It was a Sunday and he had someone else driving. That guys speaker was broken and it was just poorly executed due to the mishaps. They did give extra time at the beach even though we didn't do that your and they tried to fix the issues.

I'd do Tulum or another Mayan Ruins tour.

My understanding is next spring ish time. I am happy to say my january 30 cruise is safe. I love Normandie and need a couple more ice cream strawberry balloon crepes for dessert.

I love the Summit. She sold us on Celebrity. I've done the Summit twice on Southern itinerary's now and have another Southern on her booked in January. I love cruising out of San Juan. We've done the Antigua, Barbados, St Marten, St Thomas and St Lucia run twice and this time doing the Rouseau, St Thomas, St Kitts, Martinique and Tortola run. Can't go wrong. We've always booked the 3 meal package and really enjoy both QSine and love Normandie (which is being replaced soon after our next cruise unfortunately). I do fine on the standard beverage package but the premium is nice too (we have premium for our 5 day on the Connie coming up). I'm not a big wine drinker though.

What ship? They have some awesome new ships and great entertainment. We were going to do alaska with them since they do glacier bay but then my husband deployed. I think it's just a totally different experience. Don't think you can go wrong.

Some excursions don't allow jewelry especially dolphin swims etc which are popular. I've locked my jewelry in the safe numerous times in these cases. Also in places where I just didn't want to display my huge rock after hearing of people chopping fingers off to get expensive rings... but I also locked it up in those cases. Can't imagine leaving expensive items out. Even laptops get put away while we are gone and locked into a suitcase.
I don't think people should steal obviously but also think people should be proactive so it doesn't occur in the first place. I do hope their rings show up. I have almost left a couple items in the safe and they were in corners. And I truly hope their items weren't stolen.

We got the middle promo with 300 obc and drinks package. I booked with a TA through a big company and got an extra $175 obc (100 from the company and 75 from the TA). Was worth it to me.

I'd be bummed out bad too. :( especially with no time to replan for the new ports easily. Hope you find a way to have a great time regardless. I was grouchy when missing a Caribbean port and I'd be really upset if I spent thousands on European airfare to go to places I'd already visited a ton (I lived in both Germany and Italy for a couple years and have been all over Greece too).

Just turned 30 and Celebrity is my line of choice without kids. I love it and find it much more relaxing than what we used to do (Carnival and Royal). I think the entertainment is ok. Other lines like NCL and Royal with their big productions are probably better but I enjoy what they have. The food is great and we usually do a fine dining package.

Loved your review! I have a newer found Celebrity love also. I love the feel of Celebrity so much. It's harder for me to book other lines for sure (unless it's an itinerary thing).

Do you think it's worth rebooking in this case. $40 more for a better state room and an added $50 gratuity. So make out by $10 (I'm sure we'll use the obc).
Military credit?

Princess offers OBC for military? That's awesome. Thanks for the tip.
