  1. There are indeed parking garages across for cruise terminals.  The fee is $15/day ($19/day for oversized vehicles).  There is disabled parking that is free but restrictions do apply.

There are also park & cruise, park & fly (park & go) lots nearby that provide shuttle service to the terminals.  There fees can be as much as $9/day cheaper.

If you remove the HSC to tip individually, the crew members whom you tip must turn over the money.  If you leave the HSC in place, you can tip extra (if you choose) and they get to keep the tip.

Not trying to stir any pot here, because this is the way I want it to be.

However, just how is this determined?  I, for the life of me cannot figure it out.

I can;t find the Southwest camera

    Father,

On the Fort Lauderdale webcam look at the upper right and you will see an area labeled "Watch SW Cam" - this is the link.  (If you go over in a straight line to the left there is an area labeled "Watch SE Cam".

This is on the Fort Lauderdale webcam and not the Port Everglades cam.

Look just under the temperature in the photo

The US flag is there. And a code for another image.

They are currently going back to enable the new site to recognize and show old codes that didn't transfer well.  They started with newest first, and it's going to take some time, according to Jenn.

Thanks, Shmoo.  I plan on doing nothing with the signature in hopes that you are correct and that my Navy flag will reappear.

There are restrictions on signatures now.

    • Maximum of 1 image
    •  Images up to 150 x 175 pixels
    •  Maximum of 3 URLs
    •  Maximum of 6 lines

Those of us who have signatures from before the change are grandfathered with them.  If you change them, the signature is now subject to the restrictions.

I am not sure that is the case. Shmoo.  Either that or something has been (perhaps) misprogrammed .

I have used the same signature for years.  That signature included 2 images.  1) The U.S. flag and 2) The U.S. Navy flag.  As can be seen in my signature only the U.S. flag now shows.  The U.S. Navy flag no longer shows and a box with a ? now appears.

will watch your Sailaway from Island Prime across the bay and see The Volendam sail by! We live here and when HAL is in port we always enjoy having late lunch with cocktails and enjoy the view!

Well OK then!  If you see an older, balder guy on the Promenade Deck at the very aft of the ship, hoisting a glass in toast, that will be me.

(I am staying at the Hilton on Harbor Island the night before).

Oh, I certainly plan to!  :classic_biggrin:

Thanks to both Ruth and you. I do not have those options in Firefox or Windows. I do, however, have them in Google Chrome. Looks like I'll have to remember to use Chrome in the future.

Interestingly, while I have all the buttons while using my MAC, while using my  iPad I cannot change the color or the size.  Weird!

These are my only choices.  At one time I did have the A drop-box and colors but when I tried to use them my response disappeared.  I guess they’re still working on that.  :classic_dry:

Could it perhaps be Operating Systems.

I use Safari with an Apple Mac.

Wow! Now that is interesting.  Works for some and not for others.

Not only that, you may be right regarding your bird post.  JS  😎

I don't have a rectangle in the right corner for size -- nothing in that area.

    No color choice.

KK - Across the top of the box (where the B (bold) is) are you not seeing other symbols?  I do and further to the right in the area is A.  When I click on that I get a box of 24 colors and the words Other Colors.  To the right of that is a dropdown box with a number in it.

Doc JohnB HOW did you change the size and colour of the font. I can't find that trick! Also, can anyone access their subscribed threads? I'm getting a "Page does not Exist" message.

Sorry for not answering, I was away from the boards for awhile.  RuthC, saved me embarrassment.  One step further, when you click on the capital A at the bottom you will notice "More Colors".  Click on this and a color wheel will appear - just choose your color.

  12. I am not overjoyed with the new format.  It seems to me C/C made a "change to just make a change".  However, I am more than willing to give it a chance to see if it grows on me.

    Things I don't like:

    1.  The default font/size/color.

    • The font is to small - especially for us, ummm, older folks.
    • No choice of fonts.  I prefer Comic Sans Serif

(However I will say that, as before I can easily change size and color, just not the font.)

    2.  Way too much "dead space on the screen".  That is just a bit annoying.

    Things I do like:

    1.  A pop-up appears when one responds to a post you have made.

    2.  Not every thing was brought forward from the old boards in the signature area.  My signature included gif's of an U.S. flag and the U.S. Navy flag.  However, now only the U.S. flag appears and a box with a ? in it where the U.S. Navy flag was.

  13. Just off the P'dam and Happy Hour was in the Crow's Nest and often, as well in the Ocean Bar.

The Crow's Nest on the P'dam is a true Crow's Nest so easy to accomodate everyone ;)

Ditto for the Maasdam. Happy Hour was in the Crow's Nest and the Ocean Bar 4-5 p.m. Additionally another Happy Hour in the Crow's Nest at 9 p.m. (I believe).
