I am wondering if most people tip extra to their servers and room attendents for excellent service. I have always done this, but know some people that do not, even when they have cruised over 20 times. Am I the only one that feels that we should??
YES

The cost varies by sailing, you will have to wait until you see the package offered in your Cruise Planner before you know the price. Prices changes are unpredictable.
You will not be able to buy 1 Deluxe and 1 Refreshment using the Cruise Planner. However, if you call to order, they have been allowing that combination.
if you buy the deluxe on board and its $65 per day does this include 18% gratuity ?

Bottom Line - Just wonder how many of those removing tips are simply doing so to cut their spending and making nonsensical excuses to justify their actions??? At the same time I wonder if they are spending big bucks on their drink packages and other goodies?
Hey look, the staff are on the ship, away from their families for months at a time, so that their kids can have a better future. Shame on those who would deny them a better life so that they can have ten more martinis!
Sorry for the rant, but that's how I feel!
If they are spending Big Bucks on a drinks package, they are giving a BIG 18% gratuity.

ITS A PISS TAKE;p

P&O spirits are expensive, only 25 ml ,need a good pair of specs to see it in bottom of your glass, oh and if you want a mixer. Not as cheap as your led to believe.

The same happens: double points and you get the taxes refunded
The taxes are shown separately over here too

Not sure what happens on a UK booking where the taxes are not split out (built into the fare) like on a US booking.
Thanks.Biker.

You should just try it without any lessons first to see if it's for you. If you do want lessons, they are typically $70 when joining a group, or you can have the place all to yourself for $350, or $550 with a lesson.
Thanks Biker,it's not for me it's my son in law.

Got back off Indy 14 July ,we were on deck 12 inside in a new room .The room was very small, just bed' vanity unit hard back chair ,no chair or sofa and very small bathroom.Complete different layout than other room we have had before, open door wardrobe in front, bathroom to the left and bed to the right. After day 2 we asked to be moved because of noise from crazy golf directly above our room plus foghorn is above the room, second night foghorn was going off for 2 hrs, from 2am the room was vibrating. They did move us give us a future credit and we had a great holiday:)
-
They only charge when your in port:)

Whatever, it's way more than most of us work for less money :)

WHATEVER The op asked a question and has been blasted on here from a certain few,Can't afford to tip ,stay at home, and the old favorite stiffing. The op has probably worked his or her arse off to go on this cruise and then you expect him or her to pay someone's wages for the privilage,oh and don't assume how much money people earn.
Just asked by Royal to downgrade
in Royal Caribbean International
