  1. Side note…heard a guest just say the checkin area is now a ghost town, and they were calling “all numbers” for boarding. This embarkation went quickly. Our bus driver said his last run will be at 2:00, thinking tight be an empty bus. People are friendly and upbeat…guests included. Good sign! Now, off to check out the cabin!
  2. Well…considering I just spilled my beer on my shirt and pants, and I don’t find some toothpaste tube that broke in my luggage, we’ll see if we can gather the masses!
  3. Grabbing lunch…. EDIT….things moved quicker than I thought, so no NYC bagel for breakfast this a.m.
  4. Sorry…had the requisite safety check in. Escort took us directly to our Muster Station. DONE! Check in was easy. Didn’t even wait in the waiting area, which is always my embarkation plan!
  5. NCL bus transport from/to is $75 round trip. Not the “arrive, get uber/taxi, drive to pier 88” immediacy. But, the price is right. They NCL meet up area is at the bottom floor! First buss leaves at 10:00…NOW!
  6. LGA remodel is nice. A little bit of a hike…still nice. The Delta Club is much nicer than Cincinnati’s, too!
  7. We are on the ground….about 30 minutes early…disembark the plane, grab a coffee, maybe search out a bagel. I have some time to kill until 11:00- noon-ish
  8. This is so cool. We're going to have some fun. 5:30 p.m. tomorrow at the outside Cavern Club bar. I'll be the one with the bloodshot eyes.
  9. Yeah…but her name is in the letters. I’m sure if she said they should only send out one per passenger, that’s exactly what would happen. One 15 second email internally I’m sure would do the trick!
  10. Was on the Epic last October and the Breakaway about 18 months ago. Both were in great shape. Had fun on both, as I've sailed both multiple times.
  11. Have done Europe a few times. Best bet is to let your credit card company figure out the exchange rate. I think back in October, the last time I was in Europe, the exchange was 1.1 dollar to 1 euro. I'm sure it's changed since then, though. 20% for tips is fine.
