Something is weird and I can't wait to find out what. My best guess is a large corporate group or something similar that didn't charter the whole ship but did a deal to stop any further booking. We had this happen once on a B2B cruise on Princess. The corporate group specifically wanted balcony cabins so Princess called me and offered the cruise "free" if we would move to an inside cabin. It wasn't a bad situation at all. They did take over one of the public decks most mornings as there would be signs posted with their group activities for the day and that was usually their meeting place. But when they left, the rest of us had the whole ship to ourselves.
Interesting. We are in this sailing too, and just assumed because its spring break in Florida that the sailing sold out. Other recent sailings have also been pretty full apparently. However, this would make sense...will be interesting to find out. I did see someone was hosting a "Digital Nomad" conference on our sailing, but it seemed like it might only consist of a couple dozen people, so I can't see that being the driver.

Yes, any access key booking, they won’t status match and as of right now, status match ends March 31.
They wont? I swear I read someone used an access key and still got the DBE on their account...this would be a bummer!
Thanks for this awesome live review btw

I didn't notice our access to the "Rockstar Agent on Board" perk before. Good to know. Where is this Rockstar Agent located on board??
Fwiw, the wording on the website is a bit different. It says "Dedicated Sailor Services Support Onboard
For any and all of your needs, you'll have access to a dedicated agent."
Not sure if this is different than a "rockstar agent." Maybe just a dedicated line at guest services, vs a person you can message at your leisure?

If you have a VV sailing you're supposed to put that booking number in, I didn't so put in random numbers
I was able to submit using a random set of numbers and they replied within 6 hours that I was approved! Thanks

I have searched but not been able to find any recent bar or dining menus from valiant lady. Anyone have a good source? Thanks!

Looking at the room options, it appears that interior rooms are the same size as a terrace room, with the only difference being the balcony. Is that true?

Hi, I was just wondering if anyone can tell me what the table minimums are for blackjack and craps in the casino on VV? Thanks in advance!
-
I also only usually play a few hundred or so each cruise. Usually play blackjack or craps a little bit each day, so I was surprised to see this offer. Wonder what prompted me/us to receive it.

We leave on an Alaskan cruise in Weds, which requires a rapid to be two days before the cruise because of Canada. We live on the East Coast and are using the BinaxNOW tests with Navica proctoring. If we take the tests at, say, 12:15am on Monday, will the test results show as Monday, or might they show as Sunday bc of time zones?

Treating the 15 drink limit like its a 15 drink target 😵

For anyone who has done the eMed proctored tests recently, what kind of wait time did you experience? Thanks

We sail On Spirit in a few weeks, so interested in any other observations you can offer. Thanks for posting!

Everyone is different. Are you drinking 4-5 because of it, or in-spite of it? To some, spending 1K on drinks for two for a week is insane, others (especially in large metros), that may be what they spend in a week (or more) already at bars/clubs. No one can answer for you. Only you know your budget and consumption patterns. I can't go hard everyday anymore (the older I get the harder it is, even on vacation when I'm extra motivated) so it's not worth it for me. A few bottles to the cabin and some drinks here and there is better for me. I can go hard some days and easy on others. Excursions make a difference too, gotta get some sleep the day before and get up early. Lots of considerations. No one can answer for you unless you've already decided to buy it, then yes, buying for cheaper is better lol.
All good points. We have just come to like the convenience of knowing what your bill be without worrying about it. Not necessarily going hard the whole time, but a few specialty coffees, bottles of water or gatorades, a drink here or there, wine with dinner, drink at a show, and before you know it youve already spent the same as a day on the drink package. But never having been to Alaska, we aren't sure we will even breakeven, unless drink prices go up significantly.
-
Basically, I am trying to decide if it is worth buying Cheers for our July before May 1st when the prices increase. This will be our first time in Alaska, after doing 20 cruises to tropical ports, which tend to be more of a party atmosphere. But even if we arent partying on the Alaska cruise, if drink prices increase, it will only take 4-5 drinks average per day to break even.
-
It is well known that Cheers package prices are about to go up. Do we expect that menu prices are going to increase as well? Has anyone seen any information indicating they will? Sorry if this has been asked and answered. I tried a search. Thanks in advance!
-
I think I already know the answer, but is it possible to upgrade DOU to Cheers? Thanks in advance for answering my dumb question

We are on the 3/12 sailing and the sailing is removed from the booking screen, but on the booking manager they just reversed our itinerary...so I think they are just reversing them in the booking screen too

Vodka, muddled cucumber 🥒 and mint, St. Germain, lime juice, lemon 🍋 simple, garnished with a cucumber 🥒 wheel and fresh ground pepper.
This is a STRONG drink! My personal limit that I’ve reached is 3. My mom had 4 I think 🤔 at Pump and she doesn’t remember the Uber ride back to my condo. At 3 I’m super feeling good 👍. Eschalon had 4 on the 12/31/21 sailing and she was lit 🔥
attached are pics of the original as made by bartenders at Pump in WeHo and the Alchemy Bar version on Panorama. I told Tijana now that she knows how to make Lisa Vanderpump’s signature cocktail 🍸 she can apply for an open bar position at one of her restaurants 😉
Thank you! We will be on the Panorama in March...who do I ask to make this that knows the recipe? haha

Can you share what exactly this Pump and Glory is? A cocktail with fresh ground pepper certainly sounds interesting!

I have read people going to do their at home tests only to find there was no liquid in the bottle...Are you able to open the test and check for liquid right when you receive the tests? Or can you not "break the seal" to check until you are live with eMed?
-
Definitely stinks for those affected. We are supposed to be on her on 12/26...whats the likelihood this doesnt get resolved by then?
-
Sorry if it's been asked, but any idea how many passengers onboard this week? thanks!
-
John Heald just posted the Mardi Gras is at 85% this week based on double occupancy (4400 of 5400), presumably due to the naming ceremony stuff. However, this does not bode well for our Thanksgiving cruise...wanted to experience one cruise at reduced capacity lol
Valiant - March 11-19 - SHIP COMPLETELY BOOKED! Any hope for (finer) dining?

Come to think of it, about two weeks before it disappeared from the site, I went on a travel agents site that appeared to show how many rooms were available, and at that time it only showed about 200ish rooms available. So, the ship might truly just be sold out.
