  2. The complimentary shuttle to port entrance doesn't start till 9am. I've walked at all ports I've been to, working dock or not. Can we walk from cruise ship to the metro bus stop or train station? Or what are our options getting out of the port?

  5. Thanks for letting me know! The event is actually showing on the App for our sailing. Unfortunately it is only offered in 2 showings on the last day of the cruise - almost like it didn't want passengers to see it...

  7. I looked thru the Daily Planner and really don't see AquaNation. iSkate 2.0 has no reservations either but at least it shows on the App. Is there another way to find if the show is being offered on Symphony for our cruise?
  8. Funny I never realized it's an ice show because it was never advertised as one. But I see the venue is the same as the iSkate 2.0... Somehow I was expecting a glitzy show ;]
  9. I know RCCL website's Symphony entertainment listing shows a generic sounding 'Ice show' but I really don't see it offered on the App. Is that actually a regular show then? I see other nebulous billings for Symphony like 'AquaTheater Shows', 'Aqua Nation' and 'Original Productions' online but nothing offered on 7 day our cruise. We only have Flight, Hair Spray, 1977, HiRO and iSkate 2.0.

  11. Thanks. It's my understanding ANY specialty restaurant can make and change reservations for us regardless of which ones we want to done at?
  12. We're going on Symphony of the Seas this Sunday and the iSkate 2.0 as the only ice show. There is no advance reservation for the iSkate show before embarkation and the App said 'reservations not required'. We can only make it to one of the 2 showings during the cruise. Is there a way for us to book the show before hand (we are only Platinum and not suite/concierge level customers)?
  13. We're sailing this Sunday on Symphony. We have a dining package and I think the App said dining times can be booked using it once on board. But I read from prior CC posts that we need to make beeline for a specialty restaurant on boarding to make and change Specialty Dining times. We don't want to do Specialty dining on Day 1 which is what RCCL assigned us as default so need to change that ASAP. Please advise!

  17. Hi Barb, I've been browsing the Dining tab's Specialty restaurants but found no links before. Went back to check it again and the only link I find is to the Reservation page. Maybe I'm going blind ;] Can you tell me where is the sample menu link on the page?

  20. We're booked to sail on Symphony of the Seas and have a 3 Specialty dining package. Are the week's show times listed on the app once we board or how do we know the time we booked for dinner at the Specialty dining venues won't conflict with the shows? There used to be 2 seatings per evening to accommodate the early and late diners, but I don't know how these big ships work these days. I'm hoping we can get all the entertainment info up front so we don't have wait for help to change our dining times should there be a show conflict. All tips on how to manage the dinner and shows are appreciated!
  21. Yes the 'majors' seem to have decided to monetize the internet. We used to get free internet with the Princess loyalty program, but it too decided to eliminate that perk for all tiers. Sad... For shorter cruises. we'll just get wifi at the port or wherever we find a Starbucks...
  22. I just need a basic internet package. Sounds like we have to buy a package with Streaming even if I just want the internet package to check for emails?
