I wish I could take advantage of these great prices, but I've got several other cruises planned this fall. Hope they continue the deal into January. Also interested in what is casino cash??
-
The lowest I could find for my dates in October was $129 a night prepaid on their website. Two night minimum.

When is this for? I used to get deals like this on the Monarch.
The Royal Caribbean Enchantment of the Seas is pricing at $203.71 (total solo inside) for a 4 day cruise on September 9th. Not bad if you live close by....
-
There was also another price drop today.
I am thinking of booking this one. It is an awesome deal when you include the savings certificate for $115 on an inside and $225 on an ocean view or higher.

No, I've only cruised on Norwegian before. I've heard good and not so good about MSC, but at that price I couldn't resist. I have mobility problems so having a balcony is very important to me. Probably won't get off at any of the ports but that's okay with me. Will post a full report afterwards.
I've started a roll call for our sailing so we can chat. http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=1909020

I purchased these 3 dresses today for my next cruise. Got all three for under $75.00!!

I stopped at an Ann Taylor store today in Las Vegas and found this little number on sale for $20!!
I just bought the same dress online. Love it!

I am trying to book one night pre-cruise in October and having the same problem. I'll try emailing and see if that works.

I booked for the price as well. I love the balcony too! See you onboard!

Do others not seem to mind you "joining" their table?
With MTD, you can end up at any size table and the others agree to having others join in. Never a problem.

I just booked the MSC Divina (new ship) cruising out of Miami on January 12, 2014. 6 nights-Western Caribbean. $664.07 including all taxes and fees for a solo balcony guarantee.

I'm going with Carnival going to Nassau and Freeport
Nassau 8-5 pm
Freeport 7-2pm
Here is a few things we (total 3) would like to do if possbile, can i get some suggestion???
1. Tour the Atlantis, any suggestion on who i should get the day pass with beside Carnival? Or is it even possible?
How long would it take? Will we have enough time to do anything else?
2. Would like to find a good bench and snorkeling, where should we do that? Freeport or Nassau? Any tour suggestion??
3. Where can i rent jet ski?
3. Where can we find some good fresh seafood to eat??
thanks
Check out Paradise Cove in Freeport. Great snorkeling from the beach and a delicious seafood lunch!

Good price...but leaving from Ensenada, Mexico makes it a bit challenging for many. Sounds like you already have that piece figured out?
I thought that too, but the cruise line shuttles you from San Diego to Mexico for free.

Do you recall what double rate is? X site or discounter? Thanks.
The rate will be the same on Celebrity site or through TA, although my TA is offering pre-paid gratuities. The pp rates for double occupancy are $799 (Inside) $899 (OV) $1049 (Balcony).

I think this is a great deal. Celebrity Solstice-11 night Hawaii repositioning cruise (Ensenada to Honolulu) on September 23, 2013. Solo inside- $1152.12 and balcony- $1527.12. I have a hold on a cabin while I decide.

I usually do my time dining as a solo. You will be asked if you want to dine with others or alone when you check in at the dining room. I like to dine with others and have met many wonderful cruise friends that way..

We are planning to cruise with IV fluids . We have done so in the past and we usually travel with several coolers. Since we are coming to the port a day prior we have an issue keeping the IV fluids cool for more then a day. Contacted carnival to see if we could get boarded more quickly and got a generic response back of telling me nothing other then I can purchase to get boarded faster for $49.95.
Never heard you could purchase that kind of service. by their response to my request they really had not read my request.
Not impressed.
I would call them. I have traveled while on IV fluids, but not on a cruise ship. I know refrigeration is key. Some ships have small refrigerators in the staterooms, but they don't keep things really all that cool and they are way too small. Good luck and I hope it works out and you are able to sail on the ship you want.

Where does the 21st sail from?
Ok. I get it. I'm confusing the Bahamas cruise with the SA cruise. I am interested in the SA cruise!!
-
Doesn't matter. I tried another sailing date that had a savings cert but not combinable with the Diamond+ Balcony discount. So I booked the 21st which was less money, is 1 day longer and got an aft balcony in the bargain too. There's a note about an obstructed view but according to the agent it's minor.
Where does the 21st sail from?

How long is your cruise? Will one week of cruising make that much of a difference in your husband's healthy fruit regime?
Cruise ships have so much wonderful fresh fruit and wonderful vegetable dishes, I just don't see a need to have to process it all in a blender while on a cruise. Furthermore, your husband would have to lug fruit and veggies from the buffet to your cabin and blend it and then dispose of all the residue and clean up the blender in the tiny cabin sink.
I just can't see going to all that trouble on a cruise.
But--if it really is that important to him, there is no harm in trying. The Fruit Ninja might be confiscated when you check your bags, but it will be returned to you at the end of the cruise. You might be able to get it through in your bags. It is a gamble though.
Fruit Ninja-LOL! We decided not to take it and he is doing fine with the fruit and veggie options on the buffet and the lean offerings in the dining room. He has will power that I do not!

My husband has just purchased a Nutri-Bullet and is super motivated to continue the recipes while cruising. I'm sure we can't bring that onboard. Right? We have 2 cruises in the next 4 weeks and I'm sure he will fall of the wagon. I know the dining room offers healthy options and we plan to work out every day. Any other suggestions?

Xcaret Excursion
in Cozumel
Posted
Considering the Xcaret excursion offered through Carnival but was concerned about how much time we would actually have at the park. Ship is in port from 9-5pm and the excursion is listed as 7 hours. When you factor in the ferry ride and bus both ways, how much time is left to enjoy the park?
