  1. Considering the Xcaret excursion offered through Carnival but was concerned about how much time we would actually have at the park. Ship is in port from 9-5pm and the excursion is listed as 7 hours. When you factor in the ferry ride and bus both ways, how much time is left to enjoy the park?

  2. No, I've only cruised on Norwegian before. I've heard good and not so good about MSC, but at that price I couldn't resist. I have mobility problems so having a balcony is very important to me. Probably won't get off at any of the ports but that's okay with me. Will post a full report afterwards.

I booked for the price as well. I love the balcony too! See you onboard!

Here is a few things we (total 3) would like to do if possbile, can i get some suggestion???

    1. Tour the Atlantis, any suggestion on who i should get the day pass with beside Carnival? Or is it even possible?

How long would it take? Will we have enough time to do anything else?

    2. Would like to find a good bench and snorkeling, where should we do that? Freeport or Nassau? Any tour suggestion??

    3. Where can i rent jet ski?

    3. Where can we find some good fresh seafood to eat??

    thanks

Check out Paradise Cove in Freeport. Great snorkeling from the beach and a delicious seafood lunch!

  5. We are planning to cruise with IV fluids . We have done so in the past and we usually travel with several coolers. Since we are coming to the port a day prior we have an issue keeping the IV fluids cool for more then a day. Contacted carnival to see if we could get boarded more quickly and got a generic response back of telling me nothing other then I can purchase to get boarded faster for $49.95.

Never heard you could purchase that kind of service. by their response to my request they really had not read my request.

    Not impressed.

I would call them. I have traveled while on IV fluids, but not on a cruise ship. I know refrigeration is key. Some ships have small refrigerators in the staterooms, but they don't keep things really all that cool and they are way too small. Good luck and I hope it works out and you are able to sail on the ship you want.

  6. Doesn't matter. I tried another sailing date that had a savings cert but not combinable with the Diamond+ Balcony discount. So I booked the 21st which was less money, is 1 day longer and got an aft balcony in the bargain too. There's a note about an obstructed view but according to the agent it's minor.

Where does the 21st sail from?

  7. How long is your cruise? Will one week of cruising make that much of a difference in your husband's healthy fruit regime?

Cruise ships have so much wonderful fresh fruit and wonderful vegetable dishes, I just don't see a need to have to process it all in a blender while on a cruise. Furthermore, your husband would have to lug fruit and veggies from the buffet to your cabin and blend it and then dispose of all the residue and clean up the blender in the tiny cabin sink.

I just can't see going to all that trouble on a cruise.

But--if it really is that important to him, there is no harm in trying. The Fruit Ninja might be confiscated when you check your bags, but it will be returned to you at the end of the cruise. You might be able to get it through in your bags. It is a gamble though.

Fruit Ninja-LOL! We decided not to take it and he is doing fine with the fruit and veggie options on the buffet and the lean offerings in the dining room. He has will power that I do not!
