That brings up a second question.

Since I booked flexible fare - is there any way to pay BEFORE the final pay date so the flight shows to the airline as paid?

I am a Delta Diamond. There is no need to pay an EZAir Flex fare at anytime before final payment is due to Princess. Once you book EZAir, and before payment, you can go to Delta.com and your DL PNR will show (this is a different 6 digit/character from the EZAir PNR) and you can proceed to choose your seats.

One Question for you. Is this a domestic or international flight? If domestic you should be able to upgrade to Comfort+ or First using Skymiles. If international, maybe possible to Premium Select, but no buy with miles Delta One upgrades are permitted

According to DSB, the replacement bus departs from "Banegårdspladsen" by the exit towards Vesterbrogade. So I suppose it's about here: https://goo.gl/maps/8S8os6HbVb82

It's a good idea to reserve tickets in advance in any case. The cheapest tickets have been sold though. Currently the 8:20 is at 49 Euros and the 11:10 is at 59 Euros (advance tickets start at 29 Euro). Walk-up fare is ~90 Euros (but seat reservation may sell out on the Hamburg train, it's a quite popular route, and there is capacity problems)

Thanks! Booked the Bus-Ferry-Train this morning. Makes the most sense, no reason to stress and rush disembarkation. Still get to Hamburg at a decent time in the afternoon. Thanks for the map, close proximity to the Bahnhof, should be easy to find the bus.

I am pretty sure there is a seat for everyone on the replacement busses. It's only passengers going to Germany using it.

Okay that makes sense. Are there multiple busses if train reservations warrant? And would you know where that bus departs? The bus area on the Tivoli side of the train station? Thanks for your help!

    Hi,

I have no experience with disembarking in Copenhagen, so I won't say anything about that. But I have a lot of experience with getting around in Copenhagen:

If you are lucky, it will take just over 15 minutes to drive. If you are (very) unlucky, it will take 30 minutes. Then add some time to pay and the time you need at the station. It's a good idea to buy something to eat and drink, as you can't buy this onboard the train (except for cold beverage vending machine - card only).

If, for some imaginary reason, taking a taxi all the way to Copenhagen Central Station is not an option - you could take a taxi to Nordhavn or Østerport station and take an S-train to Copenhagen Central Station from there.

Thanks for your reply. So it sounds like traffic isn’t much different on a Monday v. Sunday.

Have you seen that there is a direct bus to the Hamburg train that departs at 11:10 that arrives in Hamburg at 16:16.

This replacement bus goes to Rødby Færge from where you catch the regular train to Hamburg.

Thanks for your reply. Yes that is option B at this point.  The drawback is the SEV bus to Roedby is not reservable and I am afraid of not having seats. The train section of the trip however is reservable.

  6. Disembarking the Regal Princess at Oceankai on Monday morning 4/29. A workday. The issue is catching a train at Copenhagen Central at 8:20 am.

Have done this cruise before, disembarked, cleared customs/immigration, grabbed a taxi to the station and this all took no more than 40 minutes.

But those disembarks have always been on a Sunday with less traffic. Trains are few and far between due to work on the tracks between CPH and Hamburg, our destination.

The 8:20 train is the best option. I think it's doable. Mrs. Redrightreturning, not so much. I know it requires a perfect world, ship on time (arrv 5am), Danish customs open shop on time (7am). My big concern is traffic. Anyone with local experience........am I nuts?

  7. We are booked for our first ever cruise in August 2018. We will be doing the Scandinavia and Russia cruise on the Regal Princess. In all the countries that we will be visiting the currency is different. We will be leaving from Berlin where it is the EURO as it is in Estonia. However, the currency is different for Russia, Finland, Sweden and so forth. Other than in St-Petersburg, Russia where we have taken the cruise line excursion, we will be visiting the different cities on our own. To those of you who have done this cruise before, do you bring the country's currency with you. If I visit a museum or eat in a restaurant, I will pay with my credit card. I am asking the question more for if I take a city bus, tram, or taxi or even if I just want to buy a coffee or bottle of water. Should I have that currency on me or do they accept the EURO?

As it is many different countries, I feel that it is a lot of different currencies to have to get. I've heard that they will accept the EURO but am having a hard time believing this.

Thanks to all who will take the time to answer.

    Finland is Euro

  8. Thank you all for the comebacks.

Seems as it is a common denominator that one should call to confirm the credit gets posted.

fishywood....when I first checked, my outbound from Munich-

ATL was there but not my connection to CVG (not with out adding another 3 hours to an already 4 1/2 layover) but the price drop of $700+ each seat (Delta One on the international and First on the domestic) sure was worthy of consideration! So I looked at extending stay in Munich for another day, like there's nothing to do there (think...uh...drink more beer?) and the same incredible fare ($1130/pp) popped up so I re-booked the original flight pairings for a day later.. Don't know if it has something to do with being paid. First time I've ever used EZAir, usually use Skymiles for something like this. But I can report the day after I re-booked I checked again out of curiosity and that $1130 fare jumped to $2300 on the same flight pairing.

    Yes, Indeed. Thank you EZAir.

firecrewcapt.........Yes Regal 4/15 T/A as far as CPH. Then, now 8, not 7 days in my beloved München

  9. For our upcoming T/A this Spring I purchased our return air thru EZAir. It is now long past final payment so it has been paid. I checked recently and found our flights at a SUBSTANTIALLY cheaper fare. As we are not yet at the 45 day cut-off for changes and modifications, I re-booked, resulting in a credit due to my credit card. It has now been 12+ days since I re-booked and no credit has posted. Anyone have any experience re-booking resulting in a credit? How long until the credit posted?
