  1. I've been looking at Pride from Baltimore for next May 7 Day Eastern Caribbean or RCC Liberty 9 Night Bermuda/Caribbean out of Cape Liberty.

Baltimore is a 3 hour drive, Cape Liberty is 1-1/2 hour, so parking and trans. are not in the equation.

I've heard good reviews on Pride Trip just this week. So my question is

whats the pros and cons on these 2, besides price. Pride definitely wins that battle.

    Liberty of the Seas...great ship....more days....closer port...Bermuda!!!

  2. When it is just my wife and I, we never order room service but when we cruise with our two children we always have one night designated for room service. We pick the kids up from camp carnival, get everyone settled in their nightclothes and order our usual (it has not changed over the past several cruises). We watch one of those weird animated shows like Regular Show or Adventure Time on Cartoon Network and grub...lol!

This is what we order every time:

-Shrimp Salad on French Roll (hecka bomb!!!)

-Chocolate cake & milk (must have dessert)

-Roasted NY Strip Loin and Cheddar Cheese on French bread (make sure you get some extra mayo)

    -PB&J (kids love them)

-Salmon and Cream Cheese on Toasted Bagel

  3. Thank you so much, we leave in less than four weeks and although we always go with an open mind the pictures help put my mind at easy.

    Thanks again.

No problem. I was searching high and low for pics of the new menu but was unsuccessful so I told myself that I would put some pics up for everyone. I will try to update with names if I can find the menus for our itinerary online.

  4. Also wondering when it is and where do you sign up?

Hey! No charge to attend it was held at about 12 noon in the steakhouse on the first sea day (day 2 for us). Get there about very early (at least 45 minutes). It will be posted in the Fun Times. Also there is no sign up...first come, first served...some people were turned away due to capacity being met.

  5. Yes there is an interest! and from more than me, as there was a post yesterday from someone looking for the guy who was going to post the photo review of the food on Liberty

Great photos, and the food looks great. What is that savory pie? (in the first formal night pics), or at least it looks like a main, not a dessert pie. Is it a vegetarian pie of some sort?

    Thanks for posting.:)

Hi! I believe the savory pie you spoke of was "rabbit". It was some type of tart with rabbit meat. It was very delicious. I tried it just to be daring but I am glad I did because it was very tasty!

  6. Hi all,

Although this is my first post, I have been reading threads here for quite a while and have found this website to be extremely useful for cruise planning. Since your insight and reviews have helped me so much, I thought I would share this spreadsheet I put together for relatively easy, at-a-glance comparison of all of the Carnival ships and their amenities.

Can't live without Guys burgers? Want to avoid ships with Playlist Productions like the plague? Forgot which ships have converted to the American Table/Feast MDR menu? Would love to pick a ship with no blaring Jumbotron and that has a pool in the Serenity area? Hopefully some of you will find this spreadsheet helpful for these type of questions and more...

I would love to have your feedback and any suggestions for changes, improvements or corrections.

Please note that I have saved the spreadsheet in an older format so that users of Excel 2000 and above (or an alternate viewer) should be able to open it without any problems. Also, due to the size of each row, this will NOT be printout-friendly.

    THANKS!!! This is pretty awesome.
