IMHO, I would much rather smell pot than cigarette smoke. Pot will soon be legal everywhere, just like booze and cigarettes are. Even though I'm not a pot smoker, I have no issue with it. Give me a nice mellow pot smoker any day than an out of control drunk!
Pat
totally agree, rather a pot smoker than a drunk...

I don't mind crowds, I expect them unless I am home in my backyard; I have learned to deal with rude people and their ignorant children...I am truly looking forward to cruising on this ship

I don't get it...if you don't like crowds, why cruise? I expect crowds as there are thousands of people on the ship

we don't sail her until November, but raspberry martini is now on the list of must do, thanks

We enjoy the ambiance of the MDR and dress for dinner every night with extra special dressing on elegant night; we would never consider having dinner on lido
-
Considering the demographic that cruising attracts, it is surprising that more "incidents" do not occur.
could you please be specific? at this point I am feeling insulted, so I hope you will explain your generic comment...thank you

always travel with electronics...have NEVER had a problem on a cruise with leaving them out
-
would have given the kid bus fare and a "see ya"; if you want to be an adult, you have to be an adult; its not carnivals fault, rules are rules; no way my entire party would have been denied the cruise because of one's mistake

Correct me if I am wrong but eating at a table with tablecloth silverwear goes onto table cloth between bites. I do expect restaurant to put out new clean tablecloth for next diner.
wrong...do not dirty the table/tablecloth, place your silverware on your plate, please; thank you

always read the rules and do not expect that they will be changed or waived for you...enjoy your other cruise

don't know where the OP got their information, but they are soooooo incorrect! and I have yet to find the ago of a ship to have anything to do with the enjoyment of my cruise.

I do not travel with a credit card. I purchase bank debit cards which are ok for my sail and sign and most other purchases (not rental cars or hotels). Works beautifully for me. I don't understand your TA, won't they accept cash?

I'm not sure what the problem is. You're on a ship in the ocean..they should be pulling lobsters in daily.. :)
joking, right?

NO tape. NO glue. Magnets or Command strips only. If you must decorate doors, please read and follow the rules. Thank you.

Hello~
My TA warned me against Carnival, saying that once people have gone on Carnival, they have never gone back - going to RCI,etc. instead. Is it really that bad?!
short answer....you TA is a liar and personally, I would not do business with this person.

Not slamming, but this is clearly breaking the rules. Priority debarkation is only for Diamond, Platinum and FTTF guests.
If others need to be off the ship early they can do self assist or get a lower debarkation number. I'm sure there are other guests with early flights who would love to get off as soon as possible, but they wait their turn.
totally agree - just follow the rules, if they are in place for folks with platinum, diamond, fttf, etc, why would you think non plat/dia/fttf would be included? we had folks traveling with us who are blue, red, and gold....we tell'em we will meet them on lido and when the cruise is over, tell'em where we will meet them...there are procedures in place for people who book early flights, look into them, thank you.

I've sailed a handful of times out of San Juan and it's probably one of the best cruise itineraries I've ever experienced. I'm so confused why Carnival would put one of their oldest ships in the fleet on this itinerary? I'm really disappointed, older ships like the Fascination, Ecstacy, Imagination, etc need to be for short runs, not the 6-9 itineraries.
when you own your own cruiseline you can sail whatever ship you want to out of whatever port you want to....what is the problem? geez!
by the by, love the fascination!

I expect nothing more than a heart-felt thank you from my pvp....geez

april? I don't understand why people are in a rush to do this....
