  1. i have several pieces i purchased years ago and had framed (at a reasonable price at home)...i learned a lot about the copying process, and used the free prints to learn how to mat and frame at home

the selection has become very limited, i have not seen any african-american artists represented in years, so i no longer attend art auctions...did learn a lot about the copying process, but never ever drink the "champayne" stuff...if i want an original, i attend art galleries at home and meet the artist...more fun that way (less expensive, also...one artist did the framing for me, while showing me how to do it)!

  2. totally agree...except...I don't do laundry on vacation!

newbies...a notebook or folder for your daily papers (fun to look at the "sales" after lyou get home), nightlight, bubble wrap for those breakables you don't plan to buy, clock, plastic bottle to take home that bon voyage liquor you didn't drink all of!

I didn't find cruisecritic until after my first cruise, still not sure if that was a good thing or not...

  3. really am sick of you entitled people who like to put others down....you know, those of us who cruise when we can get the time and the airfare because we don't live within thousands of miles of a cruise port...karma will getcha...meanwhile...back to planning my next 4 night cruise!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  4. I have always just printed them out on the thickest paper or card stock that I have, "laminated them" with clear packing tape, punched a hole in them and zip-tied them to my luggage. Simple, easy and we have never lost them.;)

that is almost exactly what we do....we use laminating sheets (I carry a couple for disembarkation and I throw a one hole mini-punch in my bag, too)...zip tie then and we are done!
