This is an excursion on an upcoming transatlantic cruise. It is in the city of Toulon France. It is a cooking class. Had anyone taken it? It is very expensive so I am am wondering if it is worth it? Or if there is a non princess option that is similar. Any info would be appreciated.

The cruise begins in Rome and end in Fort Lauderdale. 14 days

The cruise consultant is a princess employee. She tells me every time I call, she is my main contact at Princess and will do wherever needs to be done to help me. When I had a problem with a tour price, she fixed the problem and got me a better OBC

Wishing on a star - You should call Princess and asked to have a cruise consultant assigned. I get casino discounts for just about every cruise and believe me, I do NOT play a lot- The most I spend on a 14 day cruse is about 200 bucks in the casino. I play the nickel slots. The cruise consultant team is great -

I always book with princess direct. In our last cruise a transatlantic, I was checking prices as saved 3900 in a mini. No problem with refunding my money. The we got a an upsell to a suite and still was under the 3900 savings. My princess cruise consultant is GREAT. She gets me unpublished discounts all the time and never has a problem when I call for a price drop.

The cabana rental does not include anything except the nicer chairs and the cabana. They are right by the adult pool and we thought were a better deal than the sanctuary. As if my memory serves me right, the cabana was $50 for the day and the sanctuary is $40 PP which s $80 per day for two. The sanctuary does include tea in the afternoon with treats and small sandwiches. It includes water too. I think it might include food but you do pay a delivery charge. - We enjoyed the cabana a lot and if on the Royal again, that is the way we would go

We are sailing on Viking from Budapest to Amsterdam in June 2018 on the Viking Long Ship Mimir. I am wondering if anyone has experience with this ship. Also, the web site and information does not tell us what time we arrive in each port. When should I anticipate finding that out - any information would be appreciated. In addition, any tips on this cruise and what to do or not to do would be great This will be our first river cruise

It is in a great area. Just down from train station and Tivoli Gardens. Rooms are small but include breakfast. The rooms were clean. We stayed in September this year prior to getting in the Regal Princess for our Transatlantic

We were on the Regal in September on a transatlantic in B734 for 14 days. It is a aft suite. We did encounter the soot issue once we got warmer weather. In Europe when it was cooler, no issue but once we got to the states and the warmer weather there was shoot buildup on the balcony

We just got off the Regal from a 14 day transatlantic in B734. No shoot until we got warmer weather, in Europe the balcony was shoot free. Loved the balcony aft suite. It was partial cover

Help me out here. How does "...all of the issues and changes in the schedule" play into an over booking situation? Are you referring to an upgrade offer from folks canceling their reservations?

Not sure it will..but it does look like it will be a full cruise. So I was just thinking we might get an offer

It is possible that Princess will make moveover offers, if the ship is overbooked. With all the problems with the ship and therefore the itinerary, there may be more cancelations than usual for the cruise. That would work against the need for freeing up cabins.

We are booked on the January 13th sailing on the Caribbean princess. With all the issues and changes in the schedule, the sailing is almost sold out. Only interior an oceanview cabins left. Is it possible we might get a move over offer for this sailing ? If so, when would it come ? December sometime ? - Just wondering, as this is a sailing that we could take advantage of that type of offer.

So now, I am on the January 13th sailing, I had a tour in St. Martin to go over to Margiot. When I attempt to reschedule it , it is now $10.00 more!!. Plus I had used my OBC to book the tours and the total for that now does not balance. My cruise consultant at Princess is attempting to get it fixed BUT I feel like Princess should have automatically rebooked our tour. Hell they only moved the stop by one day for St. Martin. I am going to not be happy if this does not work out.

I am platinum on princess and almost Elite. I would hope they would see that and do right by me

I got an email from princess tonight advising that my January 2018 cruise has an altered itinerary with shortened time in port because the ship is unable to travel at full speed. Seems strange that it's something they can't fix in the next 6 months.

I got the same email tonight. This is a known issue with the ship.

My problem with the movement of ports, my tour in St. Martin I scheduled is now gone off the cruise personalizer. I had paid for my tours with OBC plus an additional payment. Now the balance of OBC is zero. It appears I will have to spend some time in the phone with my cruise consultant at Princess tomorrow to clean up the mess.

Had anyone else that had changes in their cruise had these issues? Did the get fixed??

We received an upsell offer for our Alaska cruise last year the day we were leaving North Carolina, which was about 5 days prior to the cruisetour starting

We are in Grand Turk in January but Princess does not have any excursions for renting cabanns. Can I just use the pools and the beach? Have never been there so need to understand. Can you just use the pool at Buffetts? Any info on how the port works

This cruise is on the Caribbean princess and is now going to Grand Turk. We have never been there but in my research I see there is a pool and a Jimmy Buffetts. I cannot find a princess excursion to rent a cabanna. Can you just use the pool at Buffetts or do you just go to the beach. Any information would help me to know how to plan for this port.

We are also sailing with you & have not received an email, on calling Princess was told about credit to be on ship. Have to assume everyone will get it.

Interesting. We are booked in the Caribbean princess in January for a 14 day called Circle the Caribbean. We have not received any type of email. I will check cruise personalizer. Do you think the will the agents know about it if I call?
