I won't be going on a Mediterranean cruise any time soon, unfortunately, but I'm loving every moment of your funny and pictoresque review. Can't wait for more!

It amazes me that discussions over trivial matters like these rack up some 200+ equally trivial comments in a matter of hours, while there are members who put in a lot of time and effort in posting helpful and informative reviews that, more often than not, will be buried and fogotten only after a handful of replies...and no, I'm NOT referring to any review of mine :). Just putting in my two cents.

We had them both on our cruise last week, and we LOVED Leigh. He is every bit as brilliant and energetic as Richard. He is warm, approachable, friendly, funny, etc. He really knows how to run activities and shows, and I would absolutely go out of my way to cruise with him again!
He's probably early 30's, Australian, but his surname is a common Maltese name pronounced Schwer-eb.
Thanks donnaK and Trvlmil for the info. I feel reassured now :)

Just off Explorer. As mentioned before, CD Richard Spacey left after our cruise for vacation. During the cruise he mentioned that the activities director, Leigh (who was awesome, by the way) will be taking over as cruise director on 6/7.
Sorry to hear that Richard Spacey will most likely not be on our 8/2 sailing. I was so looking forward to meeting him as I've read that he's very good. However, I'm relieved to know that the activities director is good too. Anything else you can tell us about Leigh? Male, female? Not that it matters as long as he/she can show us a good time:D

This is SO helping me get through the next 21 days to my Caribbean cruise, thanks, Sherri! I really should be concentrating on my work but I can't help refreshing my screen every few minutes in the hope of finding the next installment of this intrigueing story. I'm hopelessly addicted!
