  1. I'm about 99% sure snapchat was specifically listed under the $5/day program a couple months ago. They probably noticed it is sucking a lot of bandwidth up.

But what about the facebook app and seeing videos on posts? Or are videos blocked out?

Yes, I thought I read that too!

  2. Hello. Does anyone know if the Glory keeps the games locked up in the library? On the Miracle, they were not and you could not play any game because the pieces were missing. On the Sunshine, they were kept locked in a closet (bartender unlocked per your request with your sail and sign card) so very few pieces were missing. It was a really fun place to hang out with the kids.

  3. We loved the Sunshine. The only thing I didn't like was the odd layout but a lot of ships have odd layouts. We went at the end of August and it was at capacity. There were 1000 kids on board. Never found it to be overyly crowded. Actually the opposite. The shows weren't packed. Dining was fine. The only time we noticed a crowd was at the adult only comedy club.

  4. Here's my thoughts...I've only cruised in the summer months. Our cruises have always been full of families. When I was a single girl in my twenties, I missed not having the wild party atmosphere on my August Carnival cruise. For our honeymoon, we went on RCCL, and that was just not our cup of tea. Now a mom of two, I love the family atmosphere of Carnival summer cruising. Yes people drink and have fun but definately not a crazy wild crowd. As for the lido deck, it is busy there but a blast to people watch. If you want peace and quiet, there are lots of places around the ship away from the lido deck. So my opinion is to give it a shot!!!

  5. We were on deck 1 on the sunshine and it was awesome (with the exception of no balcony). We were mid ship so no problems at all. No movement, no noise. I did feel that the further up front you went, the more you felt. Pros: Not much hall traffic, no problems getting an elevator, very quiet. Cons: far from everything, atrium elevator did not go to deck 1. It is VERY important to know your ship before you book for this reason. Hope that helps!

  6. Thank you so much! You are the best!

We plan on renting a car in St Maarten so we can go zip lining, would love to do Captain Bobs but it's very expensive. I like your idea for San Juan. We are going on a tour with Thenford Gray in St Kitts, maybe next time we can do the catamaran, that sound fun. And last time we were in Grand Turk, we too rented a car and had a blast, so this time we want to do something different, so we are doing an excursion with Blue Ocean Divers.

I will email you if I have any more questions. Thanks again!!!

  7. Great Review!

I have a few questions for you:

    1) What time did you drop off at Budget? That's who we are using and I don't want to waste too much time there. I think I'm going to get a taxi to get to the ship.

    2) Can you email me the funtimes? LMFrego at frontiernet dot net.

    3) What did you do in each port? We have kids the same age.

    4) Thanks for the advice to go to the Teen Camp Meet & Greet. Is that the same as the orientation?

    5) We also have FTTF. What time did you get to the ship? You said that they already boarded FTTD. Do you have any idea what time that was?

Thank you so much for your advice!!!:)

  8. This is what I was told in May about our August trip:

sorry for taking so long. I'm not sure if I would be away so I don't want to book right now. I can let you know if I find out I can take you but feel free to look for other tours.

    Royston

FYI - We booked with Thenford Gray
