  1. Hoping you were able to obtain your tear and are on the ship.
  2. Enjoying your descriptions and taking notes as we have a Sept 2023 Atlantic coast cruise booked and will be stopping at some of these ports.
  3. We used ours both in CA and while on a hotel in Venice. We had no issues.
  4. It is a quirky place but we had some laughs.
  5. I have the same offer for this cruise. Do you know if you earn Mariner days for this?
  6. Today was able to book an Atlantic coastal cruise for 2023 with the $1pp deposit. The cruise also featured the latest have it all fare option which included the gratuities.
  7. We have been on both HAL and Oceania. We will actually sail on Regatta in April for a French Polynesia cruise. We were scheduled for the longer HAL cruise in March 2020 on a ship smaller than the Koningsdam but it was canceled. In my opinion the beds are very similar and I am not a foodie and have had good experiences on HAL. If you like sodas and specialized coffee than Oceania offers these at no extra cost. We always seem to get more shipboard credits when choosing HAL. So I shop around and until I find my desired itinerary. We have stayed on Moorea and you can jump on a fast ferry from Papeete so it is an option rather than stay multiple days in Tahiti.
  8. We were on the Quest the first week of June and had great service. We found wines we enjoyed and the server would get us our preferred wine each night. I am not a big breakfast eater but thought the selections in the buffet area was plentiful. We often would go upstairs and get special coffees before heading to breakfast. The Restaurant was practically empty every evening. We did see the chef on several days.
  9. We were also on the Oosterdam 6/13-25 in a Neptune Suite. We had no issues in our cabin and experienced wonderful, service. Our laundry was always returned in one day. Our daughters were in an ocean view cabin and their cabin was very hot upon embarkation, however, they told their room steward and it was cool within a few hours. We did hear someone say they had been moved but all 10 of our friends on board had no issues in their rooms. The only area I was disappointed in was the piano man and woman duo. I was pleased with the wine service, especially Hannah, the cellar master. There definitely were no crowds throughout our cruise which I loved! We experienced very friendly service by everyone we encountered.
  10. We boarded on June 13th.We had stayed 2 nights in Venice so took the shuttle bus from Tronchetta. The HAL reps were all waiting near the buses near the People Mover. Arrive early as they began loading the buses about 10:30 for the 11am departure.
