OP what do you consider good ?
For us the Hyatt Place near 17th Street was good enough.
And you can get a nice discount if you book through www.valuetrips.com -
I have only used accessible cabins on Princess, but assume all cruise lines give you more square footage for them. Your scooter should fit nicely inside and not hamper your movements.

Have you considered a rollator?

We have stayed at Fort MacArthur a couple of times. It's basic military housing, comfortable, affordable but nothing to write home about. I'm sure they don't have a shuttle but it's not that far from port - maybe a 10 minute drive. You can Uber but you will have to drag your bags to the front gate because they don't allow Uber on base. At least that's what we were told. However, you will not be that far from the gate -- maybe a block.
I stayed in a DV bungalow. It was old but very spacious and comfortable.you are correct about the lack of a shuttle, but we were staying several days and had a car from Enterprise in San Pedro.

We also used Kamchatintour in 2017.
We were on the Celebrity Millennium May 14th and had booked an all day tour with Kamchatintour http://www.kamchatintour.ru No visa was required, but the tour company also gave us an official looking "travel voucher" should we ever need it..
I found them to be very responsive to all of my questions - in perfect English. Our guide, Anna Konevskaya, was extremely organized and very knowledgeable about the local area and it's history. We couldn't have asked for anyone better. We visited a "snow dogs" center where they train long distance sled dog racers similar to Alaska's Iditarod. We also saw some indigenous people perform ethnic dances for us. It turned out to be a very memorable day.
Based on our experience this last May, Russia required NO visa for passengers going ashore whether on ship's tours, independent tours or no tours at all. http://www.russiavisa.com/visafreeentry.htm
There is not much of interest in the city, but the real attractions are the stunning natural beauty of the area. For this, you need a tour and also to make the most of your time ashore.
As I said, they were very responsive to all of my questions, and I had many. They also responded in perfect English and took US dollars for payment at the end of the day.

If the ship arrives in port at 7 am, that doesn’t mean that passengers will be able to disembark then. What about time to clear customs? Also, you should be ON the plane 30 minutes before departure.
I am with the people who recommend that you be at the airport 2 hours prior.
So, you probably will be OK.

Any current updates on the Air Hawk chairs?
From my research, it looks way better and cheaper than Zinger chairs.
-
I am seriously thinking about getting an Air Hawk. Was previously leaning toward a Zinger Chair, but when I looked at the specs (especially the 41 lb weight) and the price, the Air Hawk wins hands down.

I would imagine saffron.

Yes, that is a drawback. For our purposes, the benefits far outweigh this inconvenience. Being able to fold it and transport it in just about any vehicle is great. In addition to using it on cruises, we also took two trips on the AutoTrain (Florida to Washington, DC) with it in a handicap sleeper!
Do you possibly use a ramp to help get it in and out of the car's trunk?

Special Needs at Sea wants $603 for a 16-day Cruise from Fort Lauderdale to Barcelona. I am very seriously thinking of getting a Zinger Chair. Unlike a scooter, it requires no lift in the back of the car. It is definitely pricey at $2,400 but the $603 I save can be applied to the cost of the Zinger. That’s a huge saving on just one cruise.

My husband uses a Zinger and we are very pleased with it. We have used it on 2 cruises with no problems. Both were newer, big ships (Oasis of the Seas and Regal Princess). By remembering to charge it each night (or during the day if just sitting in the room) and turning it off when not moving we have not had an issue with the battery. No problems with the gangways. In fact, the crew is always there wanting to assist. It does have a very tight turning radius which makes it very easy to use the elevators, pull up to a dining table, get situated at the entertainment venues, etc. The only place I noticed a drawback was in the buffet. Since the Zinger requires both hands to operate it, it's challenging for him to serve himself and balance a plate on his lap. Of course, most times a crew member will assist if needed. Sorry, there is another drawback: at times I find it difficult to keep up with him. The chair can go much faster than I am able to walk!
I see you are in Central Florida. So are we. If you haven't seen one in person, I can give you the name of a company in Leesburg that carries them.
Thanks for the information. It is very encouraging.
We live in Altamonte Springs and would like to have the ,contact information for the dealer in Leesburg. It would certainly be worthwhile to see one first hand. TIA!

I suspect you would have to be US military..
But call the Fort MacArthur Inn and ask them yourself. (I realize that it is a long distance call.)

Has anyone had experience with taking a Zinger Chair on a cruise? Any thoughts?
Any difficulty going up the gangway boarding the ship?

Sometimes there's French Onion soup on the buffet. I scope out the soup first thing - I'm a soup person. I love clam chowder, but I'm not fond of Princess clam chowder - it's not creamy enough, it's more on the watery side.
The Crown Grill has an excellent French Onion soup. I order it every time.

The Space Center is between a 3/4 to full day. Plan accordingly!

Go to www.sagradafamilia.org under FAQ they mention Wheelchairs and Entrance for the Disabled.
Thanks for the tip. That website also mentioned a big discount for disabled people (65%+) and one companion.

Any thoughts about visiting Sagrada Familia with a mobility impairment?
Specifically, I am wondering if they possibly have wheelchairs for use by visitors?
-
I wouldn't do it. It's much too close for comfort.

Either Uber/Lyft, or one of the commonly mentioned shuttles, like Cortans.
Cortrans will cost you $20 pp + tip.

What port?

This is a very good reference.

Yokohama Goodwill Guides
in Asia
Posted
I have used goodwill guides before in Tokyo (fair results) and Hakodate (excellent results). Now we are taking a 2022 cruise that ends in Yokohama. Has anyone used a goodwill guide from the Kanagawa Systematized Goodwill Guide (KSGG) Club? If so, what was your experience?
