  1. Online deck plan sites state there is  2000 volume library on Promenade Deck.

Looked on Princess site, but can't find a Library on Prom. Deck.

Would like to not bring my Kindle , if possible.

    Anyone clarify for me?

    Thanks, Joanne

  2. While trying to reserve Ssbatini's for May 25 cruise, it required payment to book it.

Our Travel agent gifted it to us.  But there is no place to insert this in the booking form.

Anyone have experience with this?   Suggestions?I really don't want to call Princess if I can avoid it.

    Thanks,

    Joanne

  3. Had a massage last night, 4:30p.m., then relaxed in cabin for the evening to let the oils work their magic.

Hint:. If you attend the Lotus Spa ladies pamper party where you do your own mini facial, they discount the 75 min. Swedish massage to 149, plus the 18 percent tip.  I thought it was a good deal.

Arrived in robe, naked.  Merry was very discreet, using towels to cover private lady bits.

She was very flattering, thought I was 60ish, I'm 82. Made my day.

    Enjoy!

  4. A question for those more tech knowledgeable than me.

Do you have to be connected to the internet to read books on a Kindle?

I was very disappointed to not see a Library on the Sun. Maybe I should get a Kindle.  Not sure it would work onboard without Internet service.

    Appreciate all information.  Thanks

  5. Yes!  Booked Marina, Inside, Venice to Miami.

Met the GM at the CC meeting who was very personable.  After I figured there were several balcony suites empty, I approached him and asked if he could give us a complimentary upgrade. Viola! Moved to a Lovely balcony.  My philosophy is it doesn't hurt to ask.

Also happened in 2021 on Seabourn.  One of their first cruises after vivid and there were only about 70 pax.  We had booked the least expensive suite.  The GM invited us to lunch and I asked if he could offer a comp. upgrade.  He checked with the powers that be and the next day we were in Penthouse Suite.  Again, doesn't hurt to ask.

So try it, all they can say is no and you are still onboard a wonderful ship having a great time.

  6. LuAnn,

Sorry to hear about Kenneth.  We were Trivia team mates on the cruise that your luggage disappeared from your driveway.

John and I are still enjoying cruising.

I did attend the talk Paul gave on one cruise.  Very informative.  Will miss his posts here.

  7. What time do you clear customs? What time is your check-in  time?  Maybe you can just go on to the ship?

We arrived a day early, stayed in a hotel and had a 1p.m. check-in time.  When we arrived we were the second couple and had a Covid test, waited 15? minutes and were escorted onboard with champagne in hand.  John jokingly asked where his Pina Colada was, and when we arrived in the suite Steven was there shortly with two of them.  Wow!  That's service.

I loved the Odyssey, everything was perfect.
